  1. possibly. easier though to run it inside the drivers guard and through the main grommet there.
  2. ta. that will do for a 34.
  3. once I find my camera I'm going to do a tutorial on this and get it stuck to the top of the page! 2-3 times a week this question cones up..
  4. see inserted comments. good idea. thats a start. kit is good for that amp. no. it will be enough for the 4ch you have only. if you are doing two I would suggest 4 awg and a 4-8awg distro block at the other end correct. it can. when you start getting REALLY big then is becomes a concern. how big is the fuse(s) on the current 4ch that is there. if they are BELOW the 60A rating leave it be. no probs. send cheque to address in sig
  5. you need a relay. use one output of the timer to run the relay and loop the IGN input of the alarm through it. whent eh timer comes in the relay turns on and cuts IGN power to the alarm- car will arm. one trap here though. if the IMM points NEED IGN to stay closed then you are stuffed. do you know what unit you have (alarm) actaully show me the remote.
  6. NO. I'll explain it when I see you.
  7. if it works - yes.
  8. possibly. I use a knife and score it. jigsaw will leave a molten mess on the edges. I usually do not need to file it. if I do I use a deburring tool.
  9. yup. good post on CAA btw (just saw it.)
  10. what is your origin out of curiosity (pm me.).
  11. rewire it. there is no other way to do it as they use a common negative. so thats 4 runs of speaker cable.. have fun.
  12. black ABS usually. not sure if you can get it publically though.
  13. which is why I keep saying its all about the install.. I have a mate of mine (EE) that modded a 791 to do teh exact opposite of what you stated. did it simply becuase he could
  14. what condition is it in and what is the advertised price?
  15. I have never seen them with one. I tend to make them as needed. how gappy is it?
  16. get that one IF it is a decent price. heaps of grunt.
  17. good way to fry cables you know. if its a blitz item grab the diagram for it off the blitz site OR grab a blk/red wire off the ECU. that has a 10a fuse on it so whatever you tied it to is safe.
  18. you aren't married are you? I'll buy one - still waiting on images..
  19. yup! that will do nicely!
  20. WOFTAM. remove the 791. surprised the insurance company insured it.
  21. are you sure the alarm works on bith doors? bridging the wires will only make the lights on buzzer show on both doors not jst the drivers one.
  22. for your buget (RE pm) the alpine will do. there are better but that will do. forget the 4x6 idea.
  23. with local 3 year warranty instead of 6 months? I'd deal local for that alone considering the failure rate of the ribbons.
  24. tape them in on one side. securing that sort of thing is hard wihtout having false alarms.
