  1. Type-R hands down stock Type-R may not have a turbo, but it's light [even lighter if u take out all the sound insulation heheh], and has amazing dynamics for a front driver. btw, integra type-R turbo is entirely possible (fren's got one..), and with the right setup, is simply a much faster type-R with the same awesome balance. buy the ITR, save up a bit, then turbo it and eat skylines on the circuit lol
  2. bendix = brake at the kink at the end of pit straight at Wakefield Park high performance pad = brake last minute b4 the corner
  3. thnx guys, nice pics !! XR6's were definitely new to the track... you guys came later, u didn't see the carnage in the early morning !!! hahahah anyone remember the little green civic? that was a terror in corners...
  4. also check that it's not leaking...
  5. as per subject..
  6. Bendix Ultimates are ok if you don't plan to brake very hard... on the track they are useless after 2 laps. even the cheapest Endless pads are 10x better........
  7. if it's brand new, u'll find that there is way too much advance in the timing on the base maps, as the settings are meant to suit Japan's really high octane fuel..
  8. hey Jim, just wanted to let u know that I have obtained the AP Eng Power FC from another source already, so will not be taking part in this group buy. Couldn't wait, needed it urgent. Regards, KJ
  9. the original post is from several months ago.............
  10. hi Jim, i've looked everywhere for a PFC for the R32 GTS-T, but so far have only found the AP Engineering version online. Would like to register my interest for one unit of whatever is available for the RB20 (PFC alone). Tks, KJ
  11. congrats on the launch of ur site Rezz.. interesting brands and products. i'll put the word out to my non-SAU mates
  12. just freight it back customs - 0% duty on ECUs. probably just pay GST
  13. hi.. is the Bomex bar an original or local copy? fibreglass or urethene?
  14. Endless NA-R / CC-R by the time u drive ~ 30 secs, the brakes are warm enuff for road use, but are terrific @ track. But these are race pads anyway, so keep 'em for track. Use Endless NA-S for street. Ultimates = crap.
  15. you guys made the maps @ dyno? .. time to book dyno time =)
  16. shortshifters work the synchros harder i think. and when cold, the box may feel reluctant depending on whether u have crunching issues. mine is really nice once warmed up. will be putting in Redline MT90 shortly to help protect the box.
  17. drift or drag?
  18. the article sez it's meant for domestic market only. maybe taka blocked out all the jap ips so that they can sell to the world quietly? *just my 2c*
  19. with a GT-R fuel pump, will the car run richer? No need to remap right? I'm quite happy with how it runs right now, but was thinking of getting GTR pump for safety.
  20. np wonder how's toshi doing? he's been quiet... hope our test drive didn't give him a heart attack lol =p
  21. according to Redline's website, the MT90 is recommended for my R32. It's supposed to be thicker than MTL rite? So does anyone know how they compare in actual use?
  22. lepperfish - see parts for sale section threads for sellers + feedback from users.......
  23. yeah i got the standard injectors + fuel pump i think I remember Toshi saying if I change the fuel pump to a GTR one like Brody did (if memory serves me correctly...), the chip will still be fine...
  24. shift is helluva lot shorter now... more positive action. so far, so good... just need a bit more driving in the next week to fully get used to it. also, since before my shift into 5th gear is a little vague, the quickshift hasn't really helped, but these are initial impressions anyway. had a friend drive my car earlier too, he really liked it too. =)
