  1. heh we're all in the same boat... I've a $50k R32 GTS-T. Philip is being a good dad these days, so he's selling this awesome R33... i'll probably put my car back to stock too b4 selling next time unless someone is prepared to pay decent money free bump p.s. don't sell b4 we go EC / wakefield together ! havent run with u yet heheh
  2. this is an awesome car.. my fav bit is the brakes
  3. regardless of car, I'd do the following: drift spec coilovers 2-way mechanical LSD front and rear strut tower bars front and rear adjustable and thicker sway bars hard bushes front and rear / alloy spacers rear tyres with hard sidewalls/choice of size to stretch onto rim - don't want sidewall flex pillowball tension rod front & rear adjustable camber arms on my own car, i've fitted everything but the last 2 items, learning to drift at each trackday, but have to say, very nice handling + progression atm with the parts listed that i have. I drive a 32
  4. all prices negotiable now, make a reasonable offer!
  5. i've got a Garett GT28, 320hp @ 1 bar rated turbo. Specs are S15 JDM I think, ball bearing turbo. Brand new, asking $1700, that's negotiable
  6. i used to run D01Js, not good for developing skills as i relied too much on the tyre's grip. i've got Azenis RT215 now, they are street compounds, and I'm driving better + faster lap times with them. i believe if I put on D01Js now, i'll be able to exploit them better
  7. NEO engine has solid lifters, like the GTRs, and the RB25 from the R33 has hydraulic lifters.
  8. APEXi N1 Type PRO, Zeal Function S6 and one of the HKS Hipermax coilovers, the PRO i think? Excellent circuit suspension, but fragile for road use - aluminium construction easily damaged as it's really stiff, and you'll need to strip it for a clean every 3 months or so if u drive it everyday (not a good idea).
  9. with the temps we get in Oz, I don't think we really need the thermostat .. believe the original intention was to prevent oil going into the oil cooler during cold winters ? anyway, i didn't bother getting a thermostat equipped one in my car, oil warms up within 5-10 mins depending on outside temps. just drive it sensibly, thats what I do. Did you have anyone else look at your problem franky?
  10. the black ITR? owner's name isn't Jase...
  11. Top Secret in Japan puts the RB26 in other cars like Supras I think ... many non-nissan conversions been done elsewhere too
  12. the stock rubber sheath from the GTR pump did not fit my stock in-tank fuel pump mount thingy in my R32 GTS-T, so the rubber was removed. very loud, ask Tony hahaha..
  13. heheh go the Eric & Franky battle!
  14. don't get me wrong, a well tuned turbo car has plenty of response too... mine does but the response of an NA car is relatively linear, even with systems like BMW's VANOS, Honda's VTEC, Toyota's VVTL-i, etc., and you can experience a different way of attacking corners. that's what I miss most about NA cars
  15. i've got a 2 way LSD in my car. 2 way LSD: limited slip diff - locking action/force is the same off or on throttle. how strong the action is depends on the initial torque setting on the diff.. not fully locked... that'd be the welded diff me thinks
  16. not Eric's car.. Brian's Type-R. Wheelspin in 4th gear when VTEC kicks in on Toyo semi-slicks (not wide enough, need new rims + tyres). crazy lol... hopefully we'll find out how fast on Thursday Eric & Ben will probably go at it all day again.. Ben's got TODA 288 cams in his sprinter now...
  17. if I can find another lecture stream for a class on thursday, i'll be coming along too. franky u remember BEL's turbo Integra Type-R? should be going too, just about finished, and it's awesomely fast. don't think it'll corner tho hahahha
  18. make sure you eat up Damo's rexy Franky
  19. try testing your AAC as per engine manual... mine was shot & used to have hunting problems when air-conditioning was switched on.
