  1. Yeah I am a bit, but as I said before I buy mostly for the waranty flexability. I work on private superyachts (500gt+ 60m+ motoryachts) that travel all over the world. So I need to be able to swap a tool out reguardless of what country I'm in or what side of the world... no matter where I am, the snap on truck can come to me. There are alot of tools I wont buy from snap on too, some of the gear is getting way to 'cheap' for the money. I also have to rely on my tools more than most... If I break somthing out in the middle of the atlantic, there's no help comming... so if I break my only 3/4 spanner and can't fitt new injectors in a main engine.... you get the picture. Plus they all look nice in my 6ft snap on roller box J.
  2. Cheers big ears... how do you have time to spare??? ha ha... kids, wooza AND a GTR- you must be a buisy man... Appreciate it Stevo. Bar is on it's way... Casa del Xrated. Yeah! Who's bringing the keg? Back yard is big enough for quite a few cars, plus another 8-10 in the front yard... so yeah, why not. Yeah, but it's silver and only has one turbo...
  3. Needs: Engine build Chassis work Cage Brakes Susp Paint Wiring Wheels Turbo's, manifolds Fuel system Finish the nitrous system A zillion little custom parts And about a 1000 other things... I also have to move house, unpack 10 years of storage, build a shed, driveway, re-model the house, not to mention find a real job... January... not XRATED. I'll bring the gts-t up to play though.
  4. Bahahaha... not gonna happen.
  5. I'm only going on my own experience.. I put same size, offset volk's onto my stagea. The tyres on the front were new and the rears were 15-20% worn. The attessa played up untill I put matching tyres on the back. It's a S2. I origionally had 265's on the back of the GTR and 255's on the front. Same deal, the attessa would play up untill I put matching size tyres on the front. 32 isn't so bad as the awd system isn't allways engaged like 33-34, but I still had issues with it. Personally the only staggered fittment I have ever seen on a GTR was a veilside wide body with 14" rears and 12" front rims.. but the atessa had an aftermarket controller. J.
  6. Ready to start pulling it apart... I not on.. but maybe on purpose blew the engine the night before I put her away (300m into a very unlucky set of tyres). She's going to need a re-build and I want to get her all fixed up properly this time. I don't have any time constraints of time dependant goals for the car anymore. Still got the gts-t and the stagea to play with inbetween.
  7. Niiiiice 4 dr.. what rims and finish are they?
  8. got a spare 50k I can borrow? ha ha ha...
  9. They will inrease in value in black as jangles said. Personally I would get them media blasted then painted correctly. Powder coating can chip too easily for my likeing.. if they're painted, at least you can touch it up if they're scratched. Either way, not crazy expensive.
  10. Looks good Toff... Sooooo envious- hoist!!! I just spent all afternoon on my back pulling and reinstalling a gearbox in the gts-t. What a pain in the ... well everything!
  11. TE37's Yes.. 18x9 +22 or there abouts... Fake TE37's Noooooo... (the one's in the photo's look like rota or similar fakes) Maybe look at gettin the current wheels painted or powder coated- Black or bronze.
  12. You can't really run staggered rims on a GTR as the awd ecu will keep cutting the awd on and off, resulting in the car jerking or surging and the transfer case will wear out quicker. You really have to stick with the same rims front to rear and the same tyres front to rear. 32's arn't so bad, but 34's unevenly worn tyres front to rear will cause surging/awd issues. I think they set the car off just right.. Cheers Justin
  13. Pretty shure you can't use a standard airbox.
  14. Stahlwille is my second choice for hand tools- great gear! but they lack customer support and service back up.. especially if you work/live internationally. Any of my snapon gear breaks, I just take it back to the local snapon dealer and it's swapped over there and then, no questions asked- anywhere in the world.. Tassie, middle east, europe, US etc. I sent a couple of spanners and a rachet back to stahlwille while in the UAE, it took 3 weeks for a reply and another week to get tools. Nothing wrong with local Aussie brands either- sidchrome, kingchrome etc.
  15. Giggitty giggitty goo... Hard to beat black on black- I did have my eye on a set of d2r's I think they were, black with a red lip. SEPTEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cant wait!
  16. Hey Tenille, what would you swap them for?
  17. Do you want to knock up a second set of rollers/bearings and pins for mee, while your at it?? Cheers Justin
  18. Get some ideas... and go broke- www.snapon.com.au he he. I love my snap on gear...
  19. Nice one norman! I'd be tempted to throw a trap door in the front there too??? J.
  20. Cheers guys... will do. What model Lenso's???
  21. Just make shure you buy decent tools... Buy them once, look after them and you should have them for ever.
  22. Too long Stevo... too long. + I gotta get the shed up too.
  23. Bogan ass f&*kers... We need a 'bait' car and a baseball bat/s.
  24. Cheers big ears... Still got it, I locked it up in storage while I was away. I'll never sell it!!! 10.6 @ 138mph in full street trim, small low mount turbo's, hard suspension, full exhaust etc. First street/GTR to run a 10sec in Tassie Still has the drag stickers on it... i think- I havn't seen it in 6 years
