  1. STAGEA- HA HA!! Seriously though... sounded good out on the track, just need to lay off the limmiter half way down the back straight! ha ha. that's an awsome shot 'peeling out' How did your brakes hold up? Cheers Justin
  2. Yeah, comming down the hill into the left before the back straight- the guage bottoms out!!! Affordable race tyres.... that's what I like to hear!

    Sau Tas Club?

I say we should have a meeting at nutgrove car park next saturaday night... till the cops come and move us along- ahh the good old days. Maybe some grudge matches on the back straight of symonds? Skylines Australia Gymkhana- Dyno day at GT- Fundraising for 'poor' GTR owners- J.
  4. Cheers... I love it too (luckily so dose the woman) They're 9.5's +22 with 255 tyres. You will have 30 or 40mm narrower track in the ass end if your stag is a factory manual. You'll fit a 10" wheel under there with rolled lips and correct offset. Honestly you'll be pushing some serious hp to need more than a 245/255 35 under the ass end with awd. Cheers Justin
  5. I'll be looking into some ducting (brakes, oil cooler, rad and intercooler) and some better race day pads for the next outing. Also, for everyone with an RB with a stock sump, there are a couple of brake ponts/corners where oil pressure dips!!! I might have another look into accusumps. Anyone want to sponser me a couple sets of semi's? ha ha ha
  6. When it was running right, it sounded and moved allright.. From a ratio/turbo size/engine set up point of view, it was pretty good. Really needs swaybars and more camber too. Same old story, brakes and tyres let me down. She went allright for a simple street car.

I'm in... +1 for more hill climbs Annual skyline/import day at tarmack dragway? Group entry to other events- gymkhana, track days, powercruise etc
  8. I had a ball yesterday... pitty I was having issues all damn day. I blew up a turbotech boost controller I blew off one hose and destroyed 2 others! I was just running out of brakes after 2 hot laps... Yellow stuff pads and dba slotted rotors= fail track day (r33 on my r32). The 4 year old federal 595's were only good for 2 hot laps before they started to heat up too much. I did dip into the 63's though at 1 bar of boost ha ha ha... (tuned to 1.5bar- high 29Xrwkw) Next day, I'll check my tyre pressures too :-) there was 4 psi difference between the fronts cold- ha ah ha. And better brakes!!! Cheers Justin
  9. I put my GTT calipers on my S2 a couple of days ago. I used the solid line that came with the calipers, re bent it a couple of mm and threaded it into stagea brake line block. No aftermarket lines needed. Cheers Justin.
  10. I have 18x 9.5 GTC's on my S2 stag. They're a bit of a squeeze on the ass end with 255 tyres- there's heeeeaps of room in the front guards though. My stag is auto so it's a wider track at the rear than an origional manual. It's also a fair bit lower than standard too :-) 285's are going to be waaaay expensive and imposible to fitt up front zoid. 265's are more common. Cheers Justin
  11. I'll be happy if I don't break anything... anyone bringing a trailer? ha ha ha
  12. If he took your nose, you would look funny... ha ha
  13. Yeah. I'm just intrested in switching like a 25. I wanna has it toooooo!!!! J.
  14. Cheers big ears.. Hha ha, love it! 'If it's not Black it's not awesome' J.
  15. Who's bringing the bbq??? I'll be bringind tools, if anyone has issues with they're cars.. Even if your not running, come on down Kurt. Justin
  16. Precision turbo kit sold!
  17. let me get in on that b cam action!!! I'll be looking fairly seriously at some vct development for my GTR. I'm not going to shell out for hks v-cam that's for shure!! It would be interesting to get intake AND exhaust happening. How hard could it be?? ha ha ha J.
  18. Cheers big ears... I like it too. Luckily so dose the missus. The pictures don't really do it justice. Your AR-X is just right too. I allready had the GTC's, otherwise I would have gone black on black with some R34 GTR rims. Cheers Justin
  19. I'll be there, if I can get a tune in before then I'll have a whack too... The trust T67 is on, so it should be fun! For anyone who's comming down from the north and wanting to purchase anything from my FS thread, I can bring the gear with me to the track for pick up. Cheers Justin
  20. Here's a couple of shots of my S2... All my skylines are black, so this fitt the bill nicely. And I love the black leather! Cheers Justin
  21. I was actually thinking of getting an alloy 'jiffy' box welded onto the cooler pipes to house the board.. But hey, if epoxy works- I'll give it a go. Cheers Justin
  22. The afm is post cooler and sits outside the engine bay. I've seen plastic pipes pake explosive pressures of well over 600psi, so I'm not too conserned about the casing... it's just the lid that's siliconed in over the board that's I'll have to watch dosn't fly off. If it works well, I'll prolly re-shell the afm into ally pipe to cut down on the amount of clamps/joints. J.
  23. VH45 tb, greddy manifold and port matched/cleaned up head. 90k km's I bet you've got a tiny throttle body- J. PS. I'm planning to run around 1.5bar so I'll see if the Z32 case stays together. I have seen 4 or 5 cars that run over 20psi with the same afm location.
  24. IAC's usually gum up... Pull it off and clean him out. Check you tb position sensor. If no joy, try spraying carbie cleaner around all the gasket surfaces, stock gaskets blow out often. If still no joy, whip off the mani (4 hrs) and re- adjust the tb's via linkages.. Use a molycote product (cant think of the exact product right now) around the edges of the tb's to seal. While you have the tb's off relace the side/shaft seals as these get old and dry- thus leak. Good luck J.
  25. I have as many other people have had issues with solid intake pipes, large turbo's and isuues with stalling from boost to closed throttle... Back in the 90's there were little jap intercept modules that were designed to stop the irratic/stalling issues caused by 'dose'/reverb. Are you serious... 'any evidence' hello- your putting a 'reducer' on it. daaaa. Ha ha ha.. Suck through a garden hose, then squash it by a 1/4- you'll still get the air you need, but you have to work harder to get it. At the power levels I'll be running (still stock engine 25), very little would be lost buy restricting the intake down to 3"- there is a small gain in transitional responce and low end spool up. J.
