  1. Just replace your engine oil with a diesel engine oil and run it (softly) for a few km's.. Diesel engine oil contains a detergent that will clean out the sludge that builds up in the lifters. Just flush it through well after. J.

  3. Missed a good track day Toff.... sun was out, air temps were down and there was only half a dozen cars running so everyone had heaps of time on the track. Good day and it was good to put names to 'screen names' Justin
  4. Sorry the intake pipe isn't for sale... it's just a 90 deg cast trust pipe and a 90 deg alloy bend... there's no provision for bov return or breather intake. Cheers Justin
  5. ... oh harden up. Tassie so cold you won't need a oil cooler for 3-5 laps ha ha ha. If your planning to data log with a laptop often, then look at getting a panasonic tough book.. can kill em! Have you got a ir temp gun? If not I can bring mine if you need.. Just grab the optimum temp range v pressure chart for your tyres. I say run em hot and hard for a couple of laps, bring it in- drop the pressures hot and start from there. We can also measure the temps inner to outer to see if you have enough camber and even load accross the tyre. Man I'm pissed my 32 needs a re-tune.. Maybe I'll get the stag out there! ha ha ha...
  6. Before you get it tuned bang a cam and extractors in it.... One of my r31's many many many years ago, we threw a cam and chip (allready had extractors) at her and she really came alive. I recently saw a shot on here somwhere of a rb25de manifold with twin tb's.. Similar to the 5lt walkinshaw manifold. There may be something in that too.. I'd be tempted to go two 50mm vg30 tb's. Or even try adapting a gtr intake set up to the 30??? Very unique either way. You comming to the track day? Cheers Justin

  9. yes is T4 flange... most people just re-drill and tap them for t3- as i was going to do,,, there is heeeaps of material around the flange.
  10. After the last dyno run, I've changed a few things- most importantly the exhaust. Turns out the center muffler has partially collapsed causing higher backpressure in that section of the exhaust. I'm not shure how that will change the power output, however it feels more responsive now.... either way I was allways changing setups to a top mount TD06 and there's no point re-tuning untill I get the new turbo on.   14. Hey guys, I have a serious need for a TD05/6 for my rb25/r32 gts-t. I will look at anything TD with a 18 or 20g comp wheel... around an 8cm exhaust housing. Also looking for a TD manifold for rb20/25. I would preffer a TD06 L2 8cm. Cheers Justin
