  1. Still looking for one of these. If you can help, please let me know. Cheers.
  2. Hi guys, I need an M-Spec front bar for a r33 gtst Series 1. My car is black, so preferably painted black or unpainted is fine too. I'm having a little trouble sourcing one. If you can help me out, or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I'm in Sydney. Many thanks.
  3. Yep mine too, only started the past few freezing days. Steerings gone a little bit heavier too, or maybe just my imagination...
  4. Thanks for the feedback guys, appreciate it, I'll keep paying to do it. I also found this great website:- http://www.familycar.com/alignment.htm for anyone else looking on this issue. Thanks for the offer too SK, I won't trouble you with that, but If you need an extra hand to help out with something at a track one weekend, just PM me, cheers.
  5. Hey, I try and do as much as possible to keep my families cars running well. One thing that I've never been taught is wheel alignment. Seems every so often throughout the year this needs to be done and wouldn't mind knowing how to do this. So can a backyard mechanic do this? If not, just say no you idiot. If so, please explain. Many thanks.
  6. I've had a small hole in my cooler before. You definitely know when you have a hole in that you can definitely hear it even off boost.

  8. Very well said Moanie The cops let us riot at Brighton when we won the Euro, hotted up cars, burnouts, loud music, flares and all - NO ARRESTS. But gone are the days of the much enjoyable car show on Sunday nights. Locked down. Why? Retaliations by certain ethnic minorities who line the side of the street with their trackie dacks, abusing cops, girls and us Greeks. The Rocks has now unfortunately gone the same way. Have respect and you will be treated the same. If you have a short fuse or something to prove, stay home and don't screw it up for the rest of us.
  9. I want this too mate, my foam has gone. If the foams good i'll take it.
  10. Hi Duncan, No, the deal fell through and Cashback is blaming Mopro - which I thoroughly believe after dealings with them, but they wouldn't tell me exactly what happened. From what they tell me, only people that registered before November 2003 received their vouchers and money - that leaves quite a lot outstanding. Mopro has been completely indifferent to the situation and purely does not give a shit. I am EXTREMELY passionate about this as they really screwed me around. I can go into a lot more detail but I am trying to hold back. However, you mentioned that it was prize money that your mate was after? Sorry, don't know any of that situation. If it is in writing and there was some sort of agreement between your friend and Mopro, then maybe the process would be the same... but it could also fall under Gaming and Racing as it wasn't exactly a product or service that was bought. Let me know if you want to know what you have to do with fair trading and I will post it here. Cheers.
  11. Yeah i'd hit that...
  12. I meant the VL was a modded car and they had no problem insuring me under 25. I also have had a Skyline insured for 3 years now with them. Cheers.
  13. Not sure if any of you are on here but... If you got caught up in the Chance of a Lifetime debacle of 2003, with regards to the cashback, just wanted to let you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel and I finally got my money back. It is a very long and arduous process, but over a year later, I finally got my $1000+ back from the #$%^# at Mopro. It doesnt make up for the 100s of hours spent on this, but it is something. So if any of you need any help with a claim through the CTTT/Fair trading, drop me a PM and I will help you where I can. Cheers.
  14. Doubt it, only one I could find even remotely similar was this one but it hasn't sold and the seller has a very good rating:- http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...ssPageName=WD2V And they look brand new... I couldn't find anything under completed listings. I have printed out your pics and numbers so will look around for you as I live in that area. Good luck.
  15. My experience - I've been with Shannon's since I was 19 and had a 10sec VL modded to the max. Regardless, I shop around every year for a quote and they are always the cheapest and they actually have plausible excesses. From what I've seen they don't care what car or mods you have or whether it is an import. Customer service has always been exemplory. And the older guys have been the ones who help the most. Must be some other reason why they knocked you back.
  16. I've never heard of anything like that? Attending court for a matter is a long and cumbersome process... the cop who stopped you has no influence on whether it goes to court. Firstly wait for the letter in the mail. 90 in a what zone? I wouldn't mention the speed if you were over the limit. Hope u got the other guys number to help you make up a credible story. More people vs cop will help in your letters of appeal. Also don't quote me on this, but I heard it may be illegal to overtake in the left? Can anyone confirm? or just rumour. FYI, I got a letter from the IPB recently in response to a fine I was disputing saying that they have the authority to cancel an offence in the following situations:- 1) First offence 2) You have had no offences for a minimum of (get this) 10 years. So if you are clean, then write the IPB a nice letter quoting your previous driving history. Do this a few times if it gets rejected. Court only gets involved way way way down the track.

  18. Big W is always cheapest for me I find. But I doubt your gonna find Mobil for $50 anywhere anymore.
  19. A better way is to put it on backwards, i.e behind the steering wheel, rather than infront, the guts of the clublock should be up against the steering wheel hub, so much tighter fit. If you can force the notches then get rid of it, it is broken. Get one with lock pins(like the ones in gym equipment seats).
  20. Oh yeah, and don't EVER fool yourself to think your immobiliser is going to be enough. This is not piece of mind. Even if it was the ultimate unstartable, they will still try, and u will be left with a 1-300 dollars job to fix the damage. Visual deterrents go a long way.
  21. Yes for sure. This was one of the first things i looked out for. But rather than disable it(cause i find it useful), i've put like a missile switch cover on it. Also disable the remote boot by pushing the latch down in the boot. Makes it harder for your amps to get flogged. And always always use the clublock. I know sometimes you think its pointless cause everyone says that they can be gotten around and sometimes we just can't be arsed, but when you see your car gone, u will definitely kick yourself.
  22. I have a 2 x Ferrari Front Seat covers that I bought just before Christmas. I don't want them anymore. I bought them for $72 you can have them for $40. They are the Red silky type. Nothing wrong with them, no rips, stains etc. They look brand new. Have also been washed for the sale. Will try to post up a pic on the weekend.
  23. You sound like you got your head screwed on straight mate which I admire. Best of luck. Keep trying you'll get there.
  24. Agreed. No disrespect, but mate what's with this tree hugging crap? We all have problems. I've been supporting myself since I was 15. I never stole, I never broke the law, I never hurt noone. If I needed money - I worked, nothing special but little by little, I built my way up. Of course there are times when it seems the whole world is out to get you, it's a part of life. Yes - environment and upbringing does play a part in a person's character, but for FFS, YOU ultimately decide who YOU will be. These people do not deserve a chance if they act like this. They are biting the hand that feeds them. The government is ENDURING their laziness and indifference to life. They are giving them dole, they are giving them cheap housing, and ultimately, the big picture is that they are trying to give them a leg up in life. And then they have the gall to turn around and complain??? We need to have a form of semi-compulsory army drafting in Australia. Doesn't need to be everyone, but if you've been long-term unemployed or act like these "people" then why would anyone object to such a proposal? On a tangent - to be honest even if it was for everyone I wouldnt mind. Good life experience. And I also watched that Current Affair thing last night. Funny, it left me even more disgusted rather than empathetic towards these people. Man those reporters are a bunch of pussies. I like how they conveniently avoided all the hard-hitting questions like, "So if your son didn't steal that car, do you think he would still be alive today?" & "Could you please clarify how people in this neighbourhood can afford cigarettes, tats, drugs, booze, have food to eat, have a place to sleep at night, and yet somehow they do not have the foundations to become contributors to society?" It isn't like they live in a ****ing third-world country where there really isn't any opportunity. Make the most of what you got, u know?
  25. Ahh shit, very sorry to hear, hope you get the lowlifes that did this. I honestly believe a tracker is the only way to go for piece of mind. It has happened to me and tracker caught them. Anything else, no one gives a shit. Turbo timer by any chance? How many minutes before it armed? This could've been their entry point.
