  1. Yeah real nice colour, it's called Skizo-blue Welcome my non-identical twin brother. See you round.
  2. Silly me left the car in the sun yesterday and, well, see the pic. North Ryde, Sydney. Does it get any hotter? Show me.
  3. If it's any help, not sure if the coupe is radically different, but I know on the sedan you don't need to pull out the whole bumper and the headlights. You can do the job with jacks/hoist by pulling off the front wheels and the plastic guards in the wheel well and underneath. May be easier for some this way as you don't have any alignment issues putting everything back.
  4. You can view the track runs in the design and development videos. Sounds mean.
  5. Gotta love technology, nice launch Nee-San!
  6. No worries, cool. Good going with the Xenons too. Much better than anything aftermarket.
  7. A LOOOOOONG time ago.... I used PVC for my cold air intake! It used to stick out the front bumper and of course it was held on by cable ties. It looked really ghetto but worked great. I was actually seriously considering using PVC for all my intercooler piping until I got laughed at so many times by mechanics after I asked their advice on it and I kinda went off the idea...
  8. Just did the transfer Chris, so you should see it tomorrow. Is there a website for this place?
  9. Yeah we talked about it in here. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t175745.html It the service interval reminder and you can set the intervals yourself.
  10. If you drop down the top trim in the boot, there's a connector that goes to it. Firstly I would unplug it and test it with a voltmeter and see if there are fluctuations in the voltage there while the brake is applied. Go from there.
  11. No I don't, I'm happy to share the cost if you have it. I also haven't been able to find a scanner that can see the gearbox. I have a mate at a shop whos $5K scanner can see all the other bits and change all the settings of the BCM, but even it can't see the CVT.
  12. Sorry to hear Will, i was wondering where you went! That really really sucks. Time for a manual conversion. Crossing fingers mine doesn't die, cause at the moment I am absolutely loving the CVT "gearbox" and I'm very happy I didn't choose one of the other options.
  13. I just signed up to be a NSW member... all I can say is man there is A LOT of porn in that section! btw, what is a "But One Get One Free" sale? - Ewww..... you can keep it.
  14. Maybe you just parked it on another level? I lose my car in there all the time! Seriously, very sorry to hear. I park my car in there quite a bit, now I'll think twice about it. I would also like to know how you went with security cameras in there. Number saved.
  15. Ok, i think it's all just clicked in place for me now. You mean there's a hidden members section? You mean these past years I've been on here there's been a hidden events section that I didn't know about? Kinda pissed off now. Ok just transferred the fee and faxing the form soon. Guys, if you are trying to encourage memberships, it makes sense to show people what they are missing out on. People won't pay for something when they don't even know it is there. Might want to put it in the public events section as well as it sounds like a great event that makes people like me finally get off their arse and sign up. I know, I know I should have signed up earlier, simply the information I have got from this board has been well worth the $60 membership fee. Thanks. ps. can someone reserve me a spot please till my membership comes through. Cheers.
  16. Still can't find it in the events section, can someone point me to the link please. There's been quite a few threads over the years that drag on about wanting to go go-karting and never get organised, so very keen for a day like this! Thanks.
  17. Ummm... what go Kart day? Someone send me details please. Places still available?
  18. I like it, very useful. Thanks!
  19. That is interesting. What were the symptoms? How did you realise it's dead?
  20. Yep you are right Richard - but c'mon guys let's keep this thread on track. Start a new thread to talk about winding back digital speedos. You can call it - "WE ARE ALL f**kING JEALOUS c**ts!!!" :laughing-smiley-014:
  21. You got one, congrats Nick! You'll love it. Mine does between 14.5-15.5L /100KM, about 550+KM per 80L tank consistantly with city driving and lots of go. Logged it into a spreadsheet for a while to check and it never really changed much. Best I got was 13.8 when I really babied it to see if it made a difference. Haven't done much highway though.
  22. Nah mate, I don't mind at all, tell me. You mean the discs or brakes are meant for track? When I was asking around I was being told they were both specifically for street driving. I do know that the mechanic put in some fancy hi-temp brake fluid which I forget the name of.
  23. Purely street. Maybe I need to drive harder for them to work better! I do love that I don't have to clean brake dust off so often. There is a ceramic version of the Hawks as well that I was going to try but were out of stock. If anyone has tried these please post your comments. ps. I quoted US prices before, I've fixed it now.
  24. I've got the HAWK HPS on my car with DBA Gold Rotors. I can tell you that on my car the combination is nowhere near as grippy as stock, sometimes during hard braking you have to brake harder than normal for them to grip, so I was a bit disappointed as the US guys all rave about these pads, but there is much much less brake dust and I've never had any squeal at all. The brake pads were fairly cheap from EverythingG35, less than $180 for front and rear including shipping so yes definitely worth getting them.
  25. I'd love to see a timing "chain" snap. I'm also very interested to find evidence of a program which will rejig the KM. I've heard rumours also, I'd just love to see some evidence that it is as commonplace as you are inferring and very interested in the procedure too. Can you find out for me?
