  1. As is AFL - go to Melbourne and have a look around.
  2. I won't be unfortunately, I've got a S2 hence there's an airbag sitting in my wheel
  3. Yeah, heavy car, ugly, but very good engine / drivetrain... Evo's also have better suspension and rear diff setups than VR4s Among a few other things. AWD is a winner for drag racing off sets of lights but unfortunately not as much fun as sometimes loss of traction is entertaining. Good luck with it
  4. I'm the exact same with my knees on the steering wheel and i'm not that tall (but I like to sit upright in a car) Really annoys me and the steering wheel is up as high as it will go (which isn't that high really)
  5. I spotted a silver R33 GTS-T on norwest blvd yesterday afternoon about 4pm... I was turning off, the car had red numberplates Also spotted a R33 on Windsor Road yesterday morning about 9am or so... flashed my lights and he flashed me back
  6. Thanks guys, I'll pickup a new O2 sensor (it's good mainteance anyway) and clean the AFM on Wednesday and let you know how I go. If it doesn't resolve the issue, i'll get new fuel filter / spark plugs, as I've gotta change my oil this week anyway. Hopefully that resolves all the problems. Cheers!
  7. I presume you've flicked that switch just on the left of the steering column? It's a button switch. If it's on the bottom selection, the aerial only goes up half way. Sorry if this sounds stupid, but it's not that obvious! Cheers, Tommo
  8. I thought it was a R32 GTS-T ? I didn't realise it was a GTR ? I can find out if you'd like.. a friend is good mates with him. It was doing some very very quick third gear powerslides before coming to contact with that wall. Defintely a write off, after looking at the dents in the roof
  9. Burnouts = win As usual, I try to get some good pics of the R31s.. ^^ stupid good for nothing pole
  10. I'm suprised I haven't seen your car on the Great western? Myself and mates from www.gunnamotorsport.com are out there every Saturday night finding runs (if the pub doesn't grab our attention first) that sounds like a good drive anyway
  11. Nah - no engine warning light. It seemed to fix itself on teh way back and is defintely less prominent now.. but still there. I'll check it out tomorrow anyway, i'm sure it will just be something small
  12. hey gun, where did you join us on the cruise? I might be missing a step somewhere along this line... I didn't see you at the Maccas but I saw you on the Bells line? did you join us on route?
  13. Did anyone else my car not idling / backfiring really badly in Lithgow / Bathurst? Not sure what caused it but it meant I had to cruise it back... my exhaust tips have gone gold and were very very hot too... If anyone heard my riding my clutch badly, that's why. Clutch riding is better than it stalling
  14. Well today I went to Bathurst and back and came across a problem with my car. After a hammering, it would backfire really really badly when off the accelerator... like one every half a second or so. It would do this constantly until the clutch went in and it idle'd down. It progressivly got worse during the day. Also something that the car has always done, but got much much worse today (when the back firing started), is that the car won't idle when first started after a > 5 minute break.. I'll have to hold the revs up, or it hunts for an idle between 100rpm and 1500rpm... .... however after I drive it through a couple of gears, and clutch goes in, it idle's fine ?? Any help would be great. I'm always scared of my car running lean
  15. Yeah I hit limiter a few times going along there (the speed limit, of course ) I'm a big fan of the twisties
  16. Yeah it was a good cruise - would love to do Bells Line again with you guys but with less cars on the road I loved it... shame about the high amount of activity on the track at Bathurst, but that couldn't be avoided Damn I'm sick of changing gears after doing 650km's this weekend, haha.
  17. haha, thats the cool thing about living 10 mins away from the meet spot, I could sleep in. see ya's soon
  18. As long as the rains hold off, i'll be there tomorrow Should be a good day.. I'll be in the silver R33 with white wheels (although knowing sydney, there will be about twenty of them rock up haha) if you have any questions, just come up and ask Cheers, Tommo.
  19. It was a pretty good day - no R33's but plenty of R31 action like usual  Feel very sorry for that R32 owner that had the third gear wall hit, that guy was putting on a very very good before that happened, and obviously pushing the limit... My white wheels turned to brown after driving through the car park ay
  20. As a fun reliable car that can do 30,000kms a year, as well as the odd wakefield / wsid day. Give me a few more months to finish it though
  21. JAS-25T: will do mate
  22. I'll be out there spectating and taking photos like usual
  23. Yep, defintely still on 8am @ BP / Maccas Norwest for 8:30am departure. If anyone isn't sure on the directions, PM me and i'll give you my mobile number.
  24. Certificates like these shouldn't be used for getting a step in the door, rather they should help YOU learn more about a specific area, so that you have the confidence to apply for jobs within that area and know what you're talking about. Too many people do these certificates to get the piece of paper. That's not what they are about, they are about learning more about a product. Simply as that IMO.... Pick an area you'd like to get into, and pick a course to help you learn as much as possible in that area. From there, you can start applying for jobs etc etc, as you have the knowledge required. Some employers considering the MCSE / CCNA a benefit still, but not many.
  25. Awesome video, thanks for sharing... and congrats on the BP Your car is awesome!!
