  1. Yeah...30 bottom end and a big huffer on there Cheers Haha yeah tractions a joke! Well put. Cheers big ears! Dont think so, spectating for me You live around here? Has your N1 landed yet? Come to a cruise, would be good to meet you! Exactly mate the torque is just stupid. Stock box, OSGiken triple plate clutch, modified shifter. Id like the box to last while I decide what to do with the spare one before doing the swap Cheers! It seems anyone who knows their sh!t is going on and on about these injectors - go get a set....and then the fuel pumps.......twin entry rail......remote mount reg.......surge tank......etc
  2. I agree a Toyota section would be nice. Ill bring my Supra aswel as GTR just for the hell of it, given what mods its got (read; none) it will suprise a few people in driving events
  3. Ok, ive given it a bit of a hard time tonight, lots of second and third gear. All seems fine. I might run it in the next 3 weeks. Power is now 455kw. Anyone know what sort of time that should equate to?
  4. 9.2, thats not hanging around!!
  5. Yeah just send them to Racepace and call Chris/Ben
  6. Hahaha yeah right single.....have you overdosed on V's? lol Im suprised you didnt hear it about 15mins ago.....the fine residents of kyle bay sure did
  7. Tune finished, external crank trigger not working as it should so revs go to 8000 instead of 9000, timing is all set now;
  8. Hey guys, So often there's threads with bad/horror stories about workshops, such as "overcharged me, part failed, bad service" etc Im glad that CANT be said about Yavuz, Mark and Tyson at Unigroup. This is the second time he's tuned my GTR and from both experiences I can tell you he and his team are one of, if not, the most professional and friendly places in our local modified car industry. Im not easily impressed by workshops, but Unigroup impresses time after time. Yes there's usually a line of cars parked outside waiting and a list to even get your car there, but that just goes to show how popular Unigroup is, and they're popular for a reason. After teething problems and a 2 day delay from an Automotive Services workshop at Silverwater, Yavuz finished tuning up to the point where a 4" exhaust is needed. I would highly recommend Yavuz, as would many others, to tune your pride and joy or even just do general servicing. Please note i have not been paid to say this, I genuinely believe he's the best tuner in Sydney. My result; HKS GTRS's RB2630 Stock head but Tomei 270's Autronic SM4 ID2000cc injectors Id also like to thank some people who have helped lately; -Greg and the guys at Autosport -Trent at Mercury Motorsport -Nathan at 02Autosports (for having someone to beat) -Tony for all the lifts, LOWMOUNTS!!! -Anna for the drives of her car whenever the power bug got too bad to continue waiting -Dave for the help with the Autronic ...im sure there's more, im sorry if i missed anyone Cheers
  9. Im about to go get the car from the tuners (got to run out the door now) Wont run it tonight, but i might go for a look. Who's going to be there? Oh and yeah, i do want a quick time - who wants slow times?! lol No i dont want to buy the 6spd, just use it hahaha
  10. Thanks mate! Im smarter than i look, which is lucky
  11. Well mine uses the standard return line as a feed line, which saved time and hassle then a new return line was made up, can't remember what was used though-I'd go have a look for you if it was here
  12. Also if the spare box was built (par, osgiken) I wouldn't give a f about the current one in there
  13. Hahaha Charlie thanks for the offer! I've got a spare box here, maybe you can put your 6spd in and take it for a run hahaha it should be finished tuning today yes I'll use full throttle in every gear, so far the box has done very well from when the car had the single on it (power delivery was pretty savage) it's got a profec b spec 2, I'll call the tuner now and see what can be done at the end of the day it's not made for drags, it's made for hills, but yeah a nice time would be a bonus
  14. Sorry Walden was who I was thinking of nothing wrong with a bit of noise IMO
  15. Doesn't really matter, get any rail that is twin entry, direct fit and suits your injectors. Also run seperate supply lines from each fuel pump to the rail, then you should have no dramas
  16. Twin entry
  17. Fast filling during races
  18. Aeromotive A1000?
  19. I thought about the whole foam thing, but really didnt want to lose anymore fuel carrying capacity than needed. Now its on E85 im glad i had the foresight! Heres my surge tank just quickly;
  20. That's probably the reason why the RS581's are for sale
  21. Sure the whites and blues are the same? There's different part numbers, and with blues still being avail there should be no reason to get the whites
  22. Mate 850cc's from my experience will be significantly smaller than that. There's numerous threads saying to expect a 25% change, but it's more like 45/50% on power runs at least Mate get some 1000's and you'll be fine
  23. Ok cool glad to help also it's got speedflow fittings throughout. Not the cheapest option but it's one of those things where "do it once and do it right" When doing mine, all I could find was generic cylinder style tanks that were all designed to be fitted in the boot So, I came up with an idea of mounting it under the car with the pumps attached, I can't weld though so took it all to my normal mechanic and he did it all for me as I'd asked for. The only thing he suggested was that I wanted 3L and he was adamant that each pump should have at least 2L, so we went bigger again just to be safe. Don't buy 1000's, get 1600 Indy blues at least The best injectors are the ID's, but they're not cheap. I got them for $250 each, Bosch Indy blues I managed to find as low as $83 each.
  24. As said, I maxed out 1000's a couple of weeks ago at 23psi, 6300rpm just a tad over 400kw on e85 Its now got ID2000's The rest of the setup is; 044 intank pump to surge Twin 044's from surge to the rail Twin entry rail Remote mounted Nismo FPR The surge tank is big, it's something like 4.5/5 L I'm a bit concerned about the surge tank being emptied under constant high load/rpm so I've got to make sure the ECU has the fuel pumps setup right Car is being tuned again this week and will rev to 9500rpm on E85 on about 2bar boost. Hope this helps with your project
  25. Do you have a car that can tow? Get it to Unigroup, Yavuz can tune it to pass, then straight to Botany, then tow back home Call Yavuz and you can book it in to work with a booking at Botany
