  1. Go to your local Nissan stealership and you can buy them today, delivery will be 2 or so weeks.
  2. ^^^Agreed, plus sumitumos arent going to pull up 400awkw time after time very well compared to something like the ksport 355mm set
  3. So many owners overfill the oil level to avoid oil surge, its ok to fill up to the hump on the dipstick.
  4. Tried a smaller duration but same lift cam for comparison? Car looks great, well done! Its strange to see an S14 but hear RB power on the vid
  5. LOVE the contrast of the belts against the seats!
  6. We're going off topic, but so was I For perfectly smooth roads the GTR is great, the Supra with a modest wheel alignment is SO good on every other road, and on track is still great handling while being very compliant oaround corners but still not driving like a boat Anyway, this is a skyline forum so i'd better have a more biased view hahaha
  7. I have an xforce catback. And, its a 3". Thats right, 3". I have had it since new in 2005, sounds quite tough at times. I completely forgot its a 3" and somewhere along the way, years ago, just assumed it was a 3.5" - i recall buying 3.5" but whatever thats 5 years ago. I do however the company it was from (justjap) saying it was direct fit - well, that wasnt true, costing more in hourly labour. Now its making a tad over 600hp at the wheels, I think its time to go larger, but i have to say for the price they are, they arent a bad buy. Although for anyone reading this and looking to buy one, dont be put off by the brand, mines doing the job....
  8. They aren't for everyone monkeyman
  9. Hahaha, let me put it this way. This, is fun;
  10. Do GTR's have road presence? Yes. Are they fun to drive? Yes. Is anything else like them to drive? No. Ive driven some cars people call "fast" (talking exotics here, not shitbox holden V8's) and NOTHING had the rush my GTR has. AWD grip, mechanically very good (shame about most of them being uncared for worn out examples), but in a gtr with some decent mods it will ruin cars for most drivers. There's very few cars i can think of that will have the same rush, meaning that i will, like a lot of others, always have a gtr for fun as long as they're around
  11. Your supra was N/A though right? My supra vs gtr as far as niceness to sit in all day isnt a fair competition, the supra wipes the floor with the gtr!
  12. Well you can have an oil leak, but the pressure wont drop down until there's not enough oil left in the sump to supply the oil pickup continually. Sounds like you're getting close to that point!
  13. That will look pretty cool! I've got an RB26 head for one and a 18x13 TE37 for another Maybe call racepace and a few other import workshops and see if they have anything around?
  14. Well, if its say, 88mm bore and even thats scored/split, you should two cases of decent beer and all freight costs. Making a coffee table hey?
  15. Keep the stock seats, as is. If you MUST spend money on them, get alcantara inserts
  16. As that's not mega power, go a set of R34GTR stock dumps. If you want the best, get a set of 1st gen Tomei's if you can find them
  17. The question is not how much boost can you run. The question is at what power will the motor start to lose reliability. Just go for 300awkw and keep everything safe. If it's stock now, 300awkw will feel like a totally new car, and it will be a lot of fun and given your extra grip should be well infront of your mate
  18. I'd like to see these aswel, esspecially if the stock rb26 plenum can accomodate them (I'd guess it's a simple fit and some basic pipework), more torque is always welcome here
  19. That raises a point; how often do r34's come up with mechanical issues? Eg a blown motor (bearings or similar), surely they would be priced close to this 380,000k one?
  20. It makes you wonder where are they all now? Of course the NISMO cars are all in nismos hands but what about the others?! I was told a funny story in 2006, a person I know was making frequent trips to japan to buy parts, import them and then sell here, while doing the rounds at a workshop they asked politely if they could see what second hand parts the place had. After looking through and picking up all the good bits they opened a small door at the back of the room being used to stash parts which was partly hidden by all the stuff in the room. Went outside and up some stairs, there was an r32 group a gtr under a makeshift carport at the end of the ramp to the roof they havnt used in literally years. Completely filthy but complete as raced last. Went inside and asked the owner how much to sell it. He had forgotten he owned it! And no, wouldn't sell!
  21. Its actually not a bad buy if the buyer plans to do a full overhaul similar to the sort that a lot of R32's receive
