  1. The exhaust is restricting it, yes it will go into some really silly numbers but the exhaust on there is at its limit Have a look through the forced induction area at exhaust threads, everyone who knows their sh!t says 3.5" for even 350kw. This varies between 70 and 80mm. So its far from optimal, but its still going ok when you consider from the cat on its one of the first xforce catbacks made. The exhaust shops i've contacted for the custom system cant believe the power its making on what its got. If anything, it gives me confidence that with a custom exhaust the numbers will be achieved nice and easy so the motor isnt too stressed out
  2. Thats an easy one, drop it off at Unigroup and let them deal with it Or take it to somewhere like Hypertune and they can do all the measurements and fab work, then off to tune What power do you want from it? I think ive asked before but its slipped my mind. Yavuz will say use E85, end of the day its your car. I want every last KW out of it so i have zero regrets once this motor is gone, so thats why i chose it incase that helps your choice?!
  3. Hahahaha
  4. Get it engineered.
  5. lol, thats dedication
  6. lol, there's a line for it Ill take you for a quick spin if you want Yavuz's work is great, you'll be happy! Yep definatly doing a thread for the new one, ill post it up once its all finished though, not in stages Well, if it was easy everybody would do it. And i hate having what everyone else does lol mate who said i want to shut it right up, we'll see how loud it is, then fiddle with it to make it streetable. The car is so low im concerned about clearance, i guess thats a bridge to cross when/if it arrives
  7. Thanks for that! I wonder why no bigger than 70mm though
  8. 800USD isnt bad given its size, do Kakimoto make matching front pipes?
  9. Well, RacePace near you sell basically the same thing. Im sure Chris will make it out of titanium if you want. Dont let the price shock you, it will cost the same as the Mines one excluding delivery from Japan so its well priced. Looks like Mines only make that exact exhaust to suit R34's, the others are for previous models but they're not as nice
  10. Oh. my. god. That colour is just so fu(king NICE!!!!!! Awesome buy, well done
  11. Oh yeah that also means another trip to Yavuz for more boost and an aggressive tune. I would LOVE to see it crack the 500's with stock GTRS's and a stock ported head. Others have had big results with GTRS's but only on ported heads and the turbos being modded is also a consideration. Seeing as its on E85, he may aswel make the most of it before the next motor is finished for it cause this current one wont be in there much longer. I know Yavuz is reading; Yavuz, remember, give it loads
  12. Ooooh definatly will do Cheers!!! Not sure yet actually, missed a call earlier tonight about it and its too late to call back now. I want it to sound mental, which shouldn't be hard given the cams its got. Im concerned as my car is so low that the front pipes will get damaged on the very ordinary Sydney roads and speed humps, so yeah undecided so far. Front pipes i'm thinking 3" into a 4" merge, then 4" all the way to the rear. Will be very loud, so once its on the car there will have to be some fiddling with mufflers/resonators to shut it up a tiny bit. Oh, and something that resembles a cat converter.
  13. Thats funny, cause its true
  14. OMG that sound is fkn insane. I love it.
  15. Cheers buddy! This weekend is all about the booze, and watching others at racetracks Did yours go to get tuned yet?
  16. Im having a 4" exhaust made for it, then retuned, so im out for a little while. Once its done though, just try and stop me driving it
  17. Interested aswel. Id hate to see the price for genuine
  18. Wow, certainly different! Good luck with it
  19. Yeah thats got me stumped aswel. Unless its a carpark meet sort of thing but in some sort of order?
  20. Daytime on a Sunday? Yeah the beach will be full of people so no parking avail I like the idea though
  21. Thankfully it hasn't cost me that much, but you'd be shocked if you knew how much. Brand whore I guess. Anyway, get the k sports and enjoy. You knew brakes were needed with the power upgrade, as Duncan pointed out, it's the best time to buy now as you need to spend money anyway
  22. I never said I'd use them on the skyline, they had a set very similar to APRacing so I'd be lying if I said it wasn't obvious where I think their design is from. I've got the real deal AP's, but fronts and rears in the size I've got WILL set you back loads more than any of the china/Korea made kits. Eg my calipers new are 4500ea fronts and 2200ea rear. Then hats, brackets, pins, lines, that's another 2000. Then pads, and discs. So I agree the k sport is a much better option than sumitumos without going overboard on what is essentially a fast street car. It would be smart to see what replacement discs and pads are for the k sports, surely they're very affordable which has to be one of the reasons you see more and more cars using them I've been in a few cars with them now and they seem fine, so once the Supra needs discs and pads replaced I'll use a set of k sport instead.
  23. Tried Nissan? Or local skyline wreckers?
