  1. I've been to Sendai, definatly doesn't look as nice as WSID
  2. Good luck! Btw Trent, injectors went in, used 2J plugs, started first time etc and idles perfect!
  3. Nope havnt tried them, I was hoping or a direct fit from a domestic model but I'm more than happy to get a custom one made So they'll make up any size filter? That's pretty good, do you know if there has to be a minimum order size? Ill call them Monday, thanks!
  4. Hey guys I need new filters in my ARC airbox. Before I go and buy from japan, has anyone found a replacement from a local car? Eg does a commodore one or anything like that fit? The main concern is the large filter, not the small one Cheers
  5. Ok thanks everyone for the replies I've decided to go for just one off street drag session (the weeknight ones), and just see how it does I'm not going to launch, just hold revs around 2000rpm with the clutch starting to grab and the handbrake up, then let go of the handbrake and stand on the loud pedal through each gears. No flat changing either, I know that's not optimal for time but the trap speed *should* be respectable
  6. Got a pic please?
  7. ok well let me know what time and I'll see about coming down. Do you know there's a few rotating assemblies avail to check out on the day? Can't say until it's finished, it a mutual agreement. I'll plaster it all over the forums once it's done though and send you a pm once I've done that
  8. Yeah I understand what you mean about business sense, using someone elses R and D saves heaps of development time which is of course quite costly, as I've been finding out the hard way I hold JUN, HKS, Tomei etc in the highest regard like pretty much everyone else in the community, if I was living over in Japan I'd be going straight to one of those workshops to get all the work done, wether it would be a 2.8 or a 3.0, well, that's another story I appreciate the offer, if Friday night doesn't go too late I might pop down! If I don't, good luck with the stroker
  9. Yeah it's actually a useful app in a sea of utterly useless ones, and I was really really uprised that it was free-how good is that! Don't worry Paul and I get along well enough, this is just talking, not some all out workshop slagging fest like so many other threads on the forum we are all used to
  10. Haha, that's funny, the rods are not copies of anything, just like the crank and pistons they're made from scratch. Nice to know you agree witthat that Nitto are Jun replicas though That's the second time she's complained about it. Don't worry the sense of humor isn't going anywhere Assembly isn't too far off, the place doing it have built some monsters, you'll be able to tell who aswel.
  11. yeah would rather keep some things to myself, like those rods and crank-you didn't see the crank pic?! Good to know I'm not useless, I'll go call the highschool guidance councellor lol
  12. Haha yeah I usually use the .746 but I was lazy and used the iPhone conversion tool
  13. With the small rear housing, they're rated the same. Dash10's have 2 options for rears. Check their website
  14. The forklift club/RB's in general have got an interesting few months ahead. I wish I was more useful! Sorry everyone, i'll try harder! Its funny how similar the Nitto 3.2 kit is to the JUN 2JZGTE 3.2 kit. Duncan, 470hp at the treads is close enough to 346kw. To be exact, 345.92kw
  15. Just to make sure, this is a static display? Seeing as it's an aircraft show and there's probably an airstrip involved.............?! Sounds great either way, I'm a plane fan what happens overnight, are the cars locked up, taken home, onsite security, locked in a hangar between planes etc? $30 is for both days? Planes plus performance cars is an awesome combo Sounds really good!
  16. That sounds pretty damn good! Do you have any pics of this setup please?
  17. It's between the T617Z and the Garrett dash10 with the large rear option GTRS's are not the largest, the Garrett dash10's are 60hp more per turbo. I can't think of the figures on the T617Z, but yeah the dash10's are larger than GTRS: GTRS pair is 800hp, Dash10 pair is 920hp If in the future I need/want a larger lowmount, dash10's will be the choice but if an oversize front fan could be fitted that would be ace
  18. I'd also like to know more about the Event, driving stuff mainly, and of course price. Going off what I've read so far IM IN!!!!!!!! Dave, split garage.....if there are garages lol
  19. How did you go? Is it all good?
  20. Lol, maybe Wait till the brakes are on it and the tune finished, then it will be much nicer never had them on my 2.6, but in other gtr's with them on, I havnt been impressed-for all that lag they may aswel be a to4z
