  1. ^^^Exactly. A bit more research is clearly needed before this starts
  2. Did this manage to get on the dyno today? Hopefully nothing else went wrong !
  3. For the guys who missed out, SAUNSW has something similar for first timers to Motokhanas (which was a discipline offered at the cams day), it's not stressful on the car at all, and heaps of help on offer if you would like it; First timers fee is only $35, so come have a try http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/383719-s-a-u-n-s-w-texi-sos-12th-february-2012/page__view__findpost__p__6121297
  4. I'm not sure as a brother signing for guardian, insurance can be picky like that. Send me your email address and I'll get the form sent in advance. Go and try on open face and full face, you'll know pretty quickly which is the right one for you. The regulars at Texi for the most part use open face FYI, but go with what feels right to you
  5. Is a bunch of monkey's organising this or what?!?!
  6. Locker is no problems. Being auto is fine too - manual isn't a requirement. As long as it meets the requirements of having an effective muffler (eg would pass rego) and not a wastegate venting to atmosphere then you're fine. Please write on your forms that you're multi entering a car, it makes our lives a bit easier
  7. Age limit is 14 and yes you're right, forms have to be signed by guardian/parent etc and of course proper clothes and helmet need to be worn. Both he and yourself will fill out separate forms for him being a passenger. Only drivers fill out the one you can download right now, the passenger ones are only available on the day. Please dont list him on your drivers entry form, instead leave an extra 5 mins at sign on to fill out the form for him and sign it. Yes signing up for club and for L2S is fine on the day too, all in all you'll need 10 mins at sign on for all that so please come with enough time spare. Can recommend the "Sydney Motorcycle shop" (locations around Sydney, google it) for helmets. Not too expensive for the plain black open faced versions. Any other questions just ask!
  8. That's awesome! Another;

  10. Definitely open, Simon 0427 387 842
  11. You're near Nowra yeah? There's a dyno in Nowra
  12. The entertainment at Melbourne;
  13. No no no Kat you've got it all wrong. Yours is "Operation megawatt"
  14. What a result for the -5's! Have you tried normal E85 vs the sucrogen? Also just noticed it's 3rd gear Anything above 5000rpm is moving big time.
  15. Oh wow, shithouse timing - you're all paid for powercruise i take it?
  16. Yeah no dramas Trent, I wasn't referring just to your comments - it's all good! Joe they had an SR on there today, then a super old school Alfa making something like 120rwhp - once they've done yours, there's a hillclimb we should discuss on the 19th Feb....
  17. It's not about making a pretty number for me, it's about maximum area under the curve with a stock looking setup (Police are only getting worse and worse). I understand there's only so much the turbine wheel will flow, but looking around at others results there's so many figures all over the place, who's to say that turbine wont make a bit more power (albeit not a number starting with 5) unless someone tries it out Sure an externally gated single will make the numbers easily enough, for me at least that just isn't the way to go which is why I'm so interested to see how Gav goes with this new setup.
  18. Yeah gotta do those nuts and bolts up tight haha
  19. This one? Looks nice
  20. Ive pointed Yavuz to this thread incase he has any input on anything in here. He was flat out today (no surprise there) so not sure if he will join SAU or not
  21. This thread cant possibly have a good outcome. Also, you should be aware that our forums ARE frequented by the "Today tonight" and "ACA" shows. Quotes have been taken from this site previously without permission and those quotes have been used sometimes in bad context. Therefore, threads like this really dont need to be here...
  22. Can anyone find somewhere to get the comp housings for the 2530 cores? Closest I can find is this; http://gcg.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&product_id=580&category_id=37&flypage=flypage.tpl&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=53 If the GTX5's don't work out then looks like 2530's are the last option for getting right up there towards the 500kw atw mark on low mounts. Or perhaps a 3037 core machined into bolt on housings if that's feasible. I will NEVER have GTRS's again, what a terrible turbo they are in hindsight.
  23. Oh wow, I was way off!
  24. There's cars running successfully over 24psi on pump 98. Some tuners may not like it, that doesn't mean there isn't anyone doing it.
