Hopefully we can get more than 3 laps out of it this time...lol Steve just race in opens...it allows you to run 'proper' rubber EDIT: dont think our car will comply with Pro Class as its daily driven streeter with no cage etc so it wont comply with CAMS regs....Opens it is.

due to the fact i was restricted to a terminal speed below 140MPH with the old set-up, even just pulling 4th gear will see it go quicker and faster (yes 9.95 @ 139 MPH using only 3 gears!). ANDRA rules state that any car exceeding 140MPH must have a parachute fitted, and due to the fact i didn't have one...i was holding it in 3rd for half of the track...i knew that 9100rpm over the line in 3rd gear would run 139 MPH...not 140. The new PPG dogbox, much bigger turbo and a parachute fitted will see the car run much faster and quicker...how much?...well only time will give the answer to that one. Id love to run a 8.9 though.

the intake were 256 9.2's and i think the exhausts were 274 9.3's...not exact specs but around that ball park

i use and recommend tranzmax z...so does the owner and driver of the worlds 3rd fastest GTR

my car is entered...it will be vying for the general entry dyno trophies...as we are not in invitational class we don't have to make 1000+hp to win.

You said a Gibson built and Gibson RAN car (do i have to post a link?..ok i will http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/91553-most-icon...t-r-ever-6.html ) clearly this is not the case. It was not the truth...was it?...i.e. it was dribble. im well aware of the car as i have stated...i just don't see it as a Gibson RAN car after it has changed owners,teams and drivers.

the chassis is widely known to have been sold to the Thai's....but to say Gibson Motorsport was running the car is totally false. I could have bought the bloody thing and prepped and driven it....would that make it a Gibson Motorsport effort...i think not. The car is now back in Aussie hands so it may return to its former glory...i think it was the spare chassis anyway...as Terry Ashwood and Lindsay Fox have the no.1 and no.2 cars in their possesion.

his new head is still being ported...no rush...these mega builds take time, a lot of care and also patience. Simon will have a good long engine to impress Santa with when he calls into the Buckley house this christmas. Sorry Simon...i know you want pics...ive been very busy...will get some more up this weekend.
