  1. Hey Mick, how's things....good to see you here downunder. I think its just best to wait and see, instead of speculating. Mark has changed the set-up a lot and it has yet to be fully tested at the track. Lets just see what the new year brings. Paul
  2. no errors were made by me ya clown...pull ya head in...ill comment when and where i see fit. Sorry, i tell a lie...I did make an error during this build...i broke a second ring fitting one of the pistons. Did i hide it from Dave?...not likely...but i could have just ordered a new set and never told him. Everyone makes mistakes yes but a true mark of a man is how he deals with them after the fact and how he reacts when under pressure. Anyone can fly high when they are at the top of their game. By the way...let me guess...your Nathan Weasel? EDIT: Dave's engine should be complete on Saturday if all goes to plan.

  5. as above... I cannot believe Trent was silly enough to put himself in this situation...as his own words stated, the car was a 'basket case'. Sometimes yes its hard to turn people and work away....but in the best interests of your reputation and your business you have to. Hope a lesson has been learnt here.

  8. C16 was the fuel...ill let you do the maths to work out the boost. it may skip the 9 second bracket and go straight into the 8's...damn...it may spoil my plans to be Australia's next 8 second GTR
  9. CRD's old engine is sitting complete in Marks workshop... New engine is a 2.6ltr Godzilla item...yes factory bore and stroke. the only part of the engine package left from CRD was the intercooler...it failed on the last run splitting the end tank off it...so i guess now that its gone its a total Godzilla package. yes 2rismo you are correct GT47-88
  10. How can you possibly drive a car that powerful at full noise and stop it flipping itself onto is roof some perspective...its more than double the power of out our circuit GTR and almost double what our 9 second drag car puts out.
  11. your FPCM has shat itself...ive got the one from my car spare if you need one. this is what is happening...when you first key the ignition on the fuel pump primes the fuel system, when you are doing this several times it builds up enough fuel to start and run the car....after a minute or two this primed fuel runs out and the car stalls...then you are trying to start it again, with enough key on key off cycles the fuel pressure becomes high enough to fire the car up again. the Fuel Pump Control Module or FPCM is located behind the trim in the rear drivers side.
  12. This was not on Marks dyno, lets get that clear. These dyno's are independently run by Mainline and are operated under strict competition conditions. The power figures obtained at each event can be compared against each other. Trents firgure was obtained on a hub dyno behind closed doors at his workshop. When HE said we should wait to see what it makes at Autosalon and it struggled to make 450kw...it was, as you put it... 'shitcanned'. If you can't back up your claims under independent testing conditions they are simply that...claims, nothing more. My MPH figures always backed up the power my car made at autosalon, they are carefully calibrated units and are expertly run by Todd and the team from Mainline.
  13. John is very keen to race the car soon, and with our car ready by the end of next week it wont be long before Godzilla's new 'recruits' hit the strip.
  14. Mark Jacobsen and the team at Godzilla Motorsport today rasied the benchmark in this country for tough high horsepower GTR's. In the "Power Championship" at Autosalon final battle in Sydney today the car made a staggering 911 AWKW on its first run then backed up that figure and made another 20AWKW more...YES 931 AWKW!!! The car was run with the factory ATTESSA to control torque split and i viewed the data with Todd from Mainline after the runs and it had a 65% rear 35% front split...no games here. This is the highest power figure recorded in this country for a GTR under competition conditions. So not only does Mark have the fastest GTR in this country come out of his workshop but also officially the most powerful as well. top stuff guys.
