good to hear the car is now at the track Trent...keep the updates coming...any 1/2 track times/speeds available?

ive designed something a little bit better than that...im just waiting to see the final product from suppliers and ill post it up. If it doesnt work im going to use a high tensile cap bolt with a slightly improved thread length. but yes as a minimum id recommend fitting new genuine bolts with each bearing and belt kit fitted.

thats nuts...i normally steal guns while driving my skyline...it never even entered my mind to turn the tables.

Both Adam at JEM and Dave listened to the belt and it sounded good...it was the bolt that failed. Recently another bolt has failed in an engine in Melbourne. Ive re-engineered the set-up now as 15 year old bolts may have a fair bit of fatigue and may have been the cause....not the belt tension.

definately thinking 2wd drag car...4wd...thats left for the complete nutters to tackle...im only 1/2 way there.

Marks car is ran on methanol so id guess RH9's figure is slightly lower...but thats only guessing. the JUN engine was a little 'tired' and i think it was a wise decision to run the Godzilla engine as all the credit for the result obtained was all their own work. RH9 is M800 MoTeC...TWO.06L is V88 Vi-PEC

ill line anything up at the drags...getting chopped doesn't upset me like some others. not saying that he will win either...there's more to racecars than mega dyno numbers. depends what turbo/engine its running too...but John and i race cars for the fun and excitement of it...not the competition.

its because they are the same...wheels will be STD R32 GTR items and tyres will be MT SDR's

They dropped it due to arguements over unknown engine capacities. eg: RH9 is now 2.6 not 2.7 as it used to be...and is the GAS Supra a 3.0, 3.2 JUN or 3.4 Titan ?

I dont own a business Nathan, i help guys out when ive got time with engines due to the fact i was sick of seeing people get ripped with shotty work. There are reasons other than money why i do this and i think that if money was my only motivation for building engines than its time to do something else. Its something i have a passion for and that i have a knack at. I am moving to Melbourne soon to take over a well known existing venture down there, ill get serious then. I don't need to sell myself, my cars and people ive done the right thing by in the past does that for me. Its good to hear a reply from you, you might have to do a little research before you open your mouth or your keyboard. If you had come to me at Superlap and acted a little bit more adult about your issue it would have been listened to and discussed. Im open to chat with anyone that shows a little respect and manners. While Mr Weasel comes on here and desperately tries to draw a parallel between this unfortunate incident and what he did to (insert forum members name here) engine, the differences couldn't be further from each other. Nathan... while this failure relates to an error by Dave and something externally on the engine that was, due to certain circumstances out of my control. Dave has acknowledged this here publicly on line and is still an extremely happy member of the Red R Racing family. On the other hand (insert forum menbers name here) doesn't want anthing to do with you or (insert name here) and is very unhappy with the way you dealt with him and the situation. He has moved on to another builder to have his work done. nothing like a few home truth's eh.

Johno, if its a 5 speed kit it comes with the input shaft. I can arrange to have the box overhauled (id recommend it) in Sydney at Award Diff and gearbox if you like. These things are almost indestructable if you properly maintain them.

Thanks Mick, the 32 is now part of the Godzilla Team....and Mark has helped step the car up a level to now be a more serious track car. It will probably debut with its new set-up when RH9 is ready.
