  1. Shouldn't this be in 'skyline and other vehicle specific' list?
  2. are you thinking injector noise?
  3. Rb26's do not have hydraulic lifters
  4. Have a closer look DOOF...its a hypertune ITB manifold. Note the short runners, the mounting point for the linkages and the lack of a mounting flange on the inlet. Its the same manifold we run on our Superlap car.
  5. i see the anti-lag and rotary idle had them either running for cover or scratching their heads at Summernats. http://www.vi-pec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=73 nice comment about it being all over the Power FC too. we should have the engine monitor up and running soon for you to try with it also.
  6. Just watched the Ignition DVD of last years Superlap. Funniest bit was JB introducing himself as a professional driving instructor...lol...but came across on film well and was a bit of a character that was full of life. on the other extreme JP appeared and looked dead from the eyebrows down...personality plus.
  7. double please
  8. I have one that i was going to pinch the case off to put a Vi-PEC plug-in ECU in it but im no longer going to use it. Make me a reasonable offer for it and its yours.
  9. Cubes is gone eh? thats no so bad welcome to the new staff
  10. incorrect! he's there
  11. spot on...post of the thread
  12. no my latest race engine was run-in at 11.5's
  13. yeah...initial tune on a new engine is critical...if too rich the excessively fueled mixture will not allow the rings to bed. It seems to me the engine has seen too much fuel for an extended period...contaminated an already below par oiling system...and failed. Id be having a chat with the builder of the engine and who did the initial tune Joe.
  14. who tuned the new engine? As from what im reading there it has had problems since it was installed as the 8000klms travelled on an overfueled engine. This is critical on initial run-in as an excessively fueled engine will not allow rings to bed-in and the overfueled combustion chamber to release fuel mixture into sump area on compression stroke.
  15. can someone do Twoogle? please
  16. yes you just have to configure the output you wish to use. im unsure when he is re-opening... just leave a message if he's not there of what you require pricing on.
  17. Shane, you could use the IC Spray function (Intercooler). You could also grow your own control by selecting a GP Output or a GP PWM. The GP Output will let you control the NOS based on three parameters. The GP PWM will let you control using a 3D table. The dual ignition table function can be used to provide ignition retard for nitrous, the second ignition table is configured to activate when the nitrous is on.
