  1. Awesome work JP...i knew you would be onto it. The old ones never gave me an issue at the drags...lol ETA ? and $$
  2. ahh yes thats right...last time i ordered a set i also ordered an oil pump gasket and a seal...= $30 its laughable that this type of insurance is so cheaply aquired but so often overlooked.
  3. around the $2500-$3000 mark
  4. Due to the dollar vs yen issue we have at the moment the JUN and Tomei pumps are getting frightfully expensive. The option to go with an externally driven oiling system is getting more cost effective. Im looking into a group buy to get kits locally manufactured using a single stage gilmer belt driven Peterson oil pump. These kits will have all the necessary fittings, brackets etc as well as instructions for ease of installation. The will be produced by Mark Jacobsen from Godzilla Motorsport and have been proven and tested on his drag car as well as RH9 R34 GTR which makes 1200+hp at all four wheels. Kits are being priced at the moment and im looking for expressions of interest from the forum to see if it can be produced at a reasonable rate if 5 or more people are willing to purchase. 1/DiRTgarage
  5. get your doors painted Spark Silver and ill swap you mine...i need the lighter doors and you need intrusion bars...easy
  6. Congrats on the Pro Class invite JP Do you have any front upper arms we could use? (broke ours at the last event)
  7. i have a full list of parts required if you need them...but back at the workshop and i wont be back there until tonight. If you have FAST it will be a snack. Funny thing is most of the bits are cross referenced to the Nissan Navara...lol
  8. Have looked into making up studs for both using hi-tensile material but have gone back to replacing all the hardware with genuine items for all builds (about $30 to replace everything including washers etc). The issue of lack of flex in high tensile stuff could result in cracking the blocks across to the welsh plug gallery on the front of the engine.
  9. Luke is unable to drive due to him recieving VIP passes to F1 Looks like Dave is our new steerer...never driven at Oran but his kart lap times are impressive...was the lap record holder up here for some time until Luke ran a few 10th's better and runs quicker than a multiple State go-kart champ. 4WD sedans are a different proposition though. Dave is the registered owner of the car and as its his daily driver...full interior complete with baby booster seat in rear, we could go clubman...but tyre choice may keep us in opens.
  10. it appears to be not proud of the girdle so it will be fine.
  11. Or snaps the idler bearing bolt.
  12. B-I-N-G-O and bingo was his name O.
  13. dont know where these were sourced from...let me guess...they foul on the windage tray?
  14. thats correct...because the girdle height is thicker there as well as the end studs...well picked up

  16. nil stock ... sorry
  17. its power is like electricity...you cannot see it...you cannot hear it...you cannot smell it...but boy you can feel it. Dave, Ron Harrop can help you out with a crank...he is in Melbourne.
  18. yes and yes yes again cheers to you and also no JUN 10.5's and 10.8's (272's) are 30mm and also their 10.8 280's...the Tomei 10.8's we use are 30mm base also.
  19. Yeah i found that stockers worked the best there with overall gains...yes everywhere!
  20. Dave is yours the dark blue GTS-R i see every now and then on the Pac. Hwy at Tomago ?
  21. thats a co-incidence
  22. lol...where did you hear that you Wally?...im sure that was only in your mind. Im talking about non-obtrusive, quiet, unasuming, but very powerful stock looking and sounding cars. I hate driving my car...even the small distance from the shed to home (and you know how close that is). This car i could have easily driven around in all bloody day. i didn't throw that RB30 bottom end in the tip to regret it...it was exactly that...rubbish.
  23. We are working to get the EM PRO II to interface with the new range of Vi-pec ECU's including the new Skyline plug-in item. A unit and interface cable has been sourced for testing and hopefully will be available soon.
  24. my conversion is now complete
