  1. i feel sorry for him all the time.
  2. the demand for V44 Skyline plug-in boards has been overwhelming...so much so that the manufacturer has been unable to keep up. More should come available very soon. Scooby if tuning was based on the time it took then Haltech ecu's would cost $2000 to tune...lol
  3. ive dropped it out through the bottom before...NEVER AGAIN !! what a waste of time...i can have the engine out of our car in 1.5hrs doing it through the top.
  4. The plug-in boards are a TF electronics product, marketed and sold by Ray Hall (Vi-PEC) but yes they use the same chipset and tuning software as Link. The development of this product without TF's input would have seen the Link product not be at the standard it is today as TF did all the development on it. In effect the Link ecu is a re-branded Vi-PEC product, thats the reason why "link have lifted their game" as you put it. If it wasn't for TF's involvement the Link product would still be sub-standard.
  5. just waiting on the head to be finished (something thats out of my control) getting things done by others is an unfortunate reality for me as head porting is white mans magic that i don't have a clue about. Simon has been very patient which makes it less stressful for all concerned. wont be too much longer guys and it will be down to Godzilla Motorsport for tuning...then the streets of Hervey Bay will never be the same.
  6. yes they are a forged 90deg elbow...more compact than the tube style...but also more $$
  7. free rebuild for anyone who wants to take me....any takers?

  12. This unit is in as new condition and has only been used for testing purposes. Comes with full instruction manual, rs232 cable, software etc. it has features like full data logging, in built map sensor, boost control, launch control, anti-lag and flat shift. Gets rid of those pesky AFM problems an enhanced feature product for those looking for a little more functions above a Power FC. More suited to the serious enthusiast or motorsport applications. cost $2400 sacrifice at $1800 no offers

  15. so would i and if you know me and my car you will know im as fussy as fu(k. g/l with selling mate
  16. Just looked and they are Noltec...split the outer slider along the length of it...may just weld it up and put an extra gusset/bracing strap on it. Its only going back onto the drag car so no biggie. What should we buy for the circuit car though...UAS apparantly have something in the pipeline for 32's...BB you may have to get them for me...lol
  17. i use the 300V 'leMans' it robs me of $300+ everytime i drop it (every race meeting). lets go 1/3rds in a barrell.
  18. you must understand also the associated time, overheads, risk, etc that has to be factored into dyno time. Anthony is charging $400 for a tune which in my opinion is way too cheap. Does QT do the timing map? or just the AFR's?
  19. do a search....this topic has been covered ad-nausium...ASH...ASH you can run an 11 on stockers this thread is a waste of valuble server space ibtl
  20. Trent, i soldered the Vi-PEC loom to one of Rays adapter boards so the V88 unit just plugs in....easy!
