  1. Great and informative session. Thanks to all for organising and good to meet some of you!
  2. Hmm they have pics of a 33gtst with them and they have the same fronts as non-vspec 32gtrs? Brackets dont look that strong though
  3. I think the issue would be whether there is enough demand for these cars. Based on the criteria Terry I'd imagine that the cars going through said auction house would command a premium over the market due to the "guarantee's" of full service history etc. Most auction houses we have here sell cars at a discount to the market, and typically to wholesalers (although recent efforts from pickles shows that they are definitely focused on getting to the "end-user" market) who would want to pay a discount to the market to maintain some kind of margin. There also seems to be a general stigma that the secondhand "JDM" performance car industry is not averse to falsifying mileage etc. when these things are imported, making it hard to assure buyers there is a difference. Then theres the existing car dealers/importers (like some that you have already mentioned) who specialise in these and have good rep, but probably lack the corporate power behind them to do so on a larger scale while still being profitable.
  4. they stay clean, but i think they will yellow over time. I've got a set of greddy ones in mine (which are now discontinued) and they are very much yellow
  5. just sent through my form and payment receipt to "Shell" via pm on 22/04/2015 Name: John Zhang Looking forward to being a part of the club!
  6. Supposedly the oil should suspend the deposits so as long as it does that then when flushing most of it should be taken out. Don't imagine too much damage is possible from the oil being flicked around?
  7. Brake coolers from bottom lip?
  8. I made the switch to liquimoly 10w40 super about 1500kms ago and the oil is already BLACK as. Anyone using the liquimoly stuff and does this mean I should flush it out (prev oil was just a shell semi synth, so thinking the liquimoly is cleaning much better).
  9. in please. been meaning to do it for a while but will send through application to join as a member tomorrow!
  10. Take it these need the brackets to run the bigger discs?
  11. What do the mounting brackets look like? Can we use standard/existing lines? Also whats the thickness of the rotors and any modification required to fit a 32gtr?
  12. Gotta give the NPC carbotic a big thumbs up. Very easy to drive and holds 350rwkw no probs!
  13. They dont fit but can be made to
  14. Fyi - npc 10" carbotic single button is ~$1400 with flywheel. Told can handle 400-450rwkw. Just ordered one, so hope those figures are right!
  15. Also have hard intake kit -$80 Nismo singleplate coppermix for r32gtr/r33 gtst push type boxes -$400. Comes with clutch cover, pressure plate, nismo flywheel and bolts
  16. Injectors sold Resistor pack sold Rest still available
  17. Just got it back from the tune but getting 450 on avg
  18. called npc up today and they quoted 2500 for their twin plate +$500 for the pull-push converter. based on what they had said over the phone they didn't think the single could handle 350kwatw thinking of the Nismo twinplate but need one this week...
  19. Running two kompact bovs which came with the car, dont think the bovs would be causing any of the above issues though?
  20. How much are these compared to a nismo twin plate (~2100 with lightened flywheel)? Also do they pull type clutches? To hold 350ish awkw
  21. blitz front pipes, standard dumps (not sure if port matched) and hks manifolds. Only hard pipe which was changed was the "twin turbo pipe" so that section is now a bit longer (i.e. less rubber hosing). Still have stock intakes (with apexi pods) and running twin recirc turbosmart bovs it happens even on a relatively level surface going part throttle whilst holding boost.i can drive out of it if i go full throttle but it seems to happen fairly regularly, more much than i'd expect.
