  1. If Dave's like me he'll only need less than a minute with her! /\ /\ /\
  2. Hey guys n gals, For those members who are around the Bathurst area (and there are a few!), come up to the mountain this weekend! A few of us members are heading up for the supersprint and hillclimb - so come up and say g'day to us! We'll be in the skylines! and we would love the support, and of course, its a great weekend to see some kick ass cars on the track! Look forward to meeting some local members! Cheers! Chris!

  8. Assasin, I guess the cruises you go on are much different to ours. Majority of us dont cruise. It was more a social meet up and some dinner. This has been going on for many years with SAU NSW (way before most of our time) and has always had a great turn out. If people wanted to leave at their own will, good on them, we aren't or the organisers aren't going to tell people when and if they can leave. With a big turn out - 70 or so cars we had - if we were in a big group on the roads, it causes massive delays for the other public members. Esp when everyone sits in the full 3 lanes slowing up for everyone else, we do have to consider everyone else on the road. And yes, as soon as that toolbag did that burnout I wanted to get out of there also. People may have gone Wakehurst Parkway to avoid the stretch along the Northern Beaches due to police/defects? Cheers, Chris
  9. Assasin - did you make an effort to meet others? I tried to make an effort, however I was making sure people were on good behaviour being an exec. DECIM8 - no need for the gay comments. Cheers, Chris
  10. Omar, I just have the single 3 inch dump/front pipe in one. Works well for me with my hi-flow turbo set up etc. Before my hi-flow set up I was making just under 200rwkw with it. However if you are planning further mods later (turbo upgrade) I'd now suggest a hi-flow cat also. I have standard cat with my set up and it is robbing me of some more grunt!!d'oh! Also - I havent had the split pipe on before or done any testing so cannot compare ! I think Liz had both on her old 33 - hope she see's this thread Cheers, Chris
  11. look after my lil baby wont you!
  12. Well, if they were engineered there shouldn't be a problem as Blitz was saying...or take it back to stock! I know alot of people do get targeted and because of the minority out there that make it worse for us. Im trying to get mine engineered asap so I wont have the hassle. I just wish that some of the money and revenue that is being made from cars, fines, defects etc - went back into the racing community to the race tracks, to the driver training centres, help fund these places and help make them grow, more places to "keep it off the streets" etc but meh - it'll never happen.
  13. yeah some of the times quoted were a bit "generous" was a good write up from our own "nutshunglow"
  14. good effort Steveo! Anna, hows my turbo going on teh zed? any update today ?

  17. James and Ed, in the tree.... r33gts25 - if you are looking at doing timed sprints, you'll need to join a club that do them. Southern Sporting Car Club do about 8 per year at EC, OP, OP south and Wakie. Run in conjunction with the WRX, HSV and Alfa clubs. Other clubs like Nissan Sporting Car club, Thornligh Car Club etc all them as well. Best to join one of them. To get some practice, as Roy said go to many of the L2S days - OP hold the most and Wakie have all the "open days" Theres a few of us in SAU NSW that do quite alot of the open / practice days. Feel free to drop into the NSW section Cheers, Chris

  20. I have a 3 inch dump, standard cat (not for long) and a nismo 3 inch cat back with no middle muffler. a few of the sydney guys have commented on how different it sounds, and the bark at high revs is completely different and very "throaty" I love it and love getting complements from it from people on pit wall
