  1. when he was pink!
  2. think they will give you about a fingers gap between tyre and guard. a good sanding to get all the old paint off, then a quick spray.
  3. semi slicks are approved for American roads, not australian. may get away with it, maybe not? and absolutely no good for the wet
  4. i got a set of lowered springs left over from my shockie change a couple of weeks ago. all yours for $50. just need a clean up and some paint
  5. you don't get a rubber bush on short shifters so all the noise from the g/box get transfered straight up the shifter. i cut my stock shifter below the rubber bush, done the same place on the short shifter and welded the stock shifter onto the short shifter bottom, walla, no more noise and feels even better (make sure you get someone who can weld to do it,i got my mate who's a pressure welder to do mine)
  6. i got a walbro in mine, professionally fitted and it is loud before starting the car as well. so this is normal. as for the wiring, not sure!
  7. mine sits there 2 when fully hot on idle?
  8. i just splice mine into a dash light, think it was the cigarette lighter light, and earthed the other one. easy and works well
  9. went from 215 to 256 rwhp so sorry, about 40 rwhp (that was with fitting a fmic as well). 3000 for gbox, tailshaft, peddles, console, flywheel. 1000 for extreme clutch(crap) and fitting, took them about 4 to 5 hours to convert. instrumentation gauge cost a extra 200. still running the auto computer with safc2 and auto diff. with full exhaust and fitting pod filter went to 290rwhp at 12psi
  10. Had mine done a few years ago, cost me $4000.00 in total fitted by workshop. had to source all my parts from over east (in W.A.) need g/box, tailshaft, clutch, flywheel, clutch peddle and brake peddle, speedo gear to go into gearbox, gearstick console surround and manual dash instrumentation. well worth it in the end gained about 50 rwhp and a big smile
  11. sticker received
  12. lucky i don't work for them, they'd go broke
  13. dont know about this, this is no rb20. check out those rear guards! http://www.pickles.com.au/damaged/vehicle/...2056313/lotid-0
  14. No Problems, nice quick update
  15. just a bit of info for putting grease on o rings, only use rubber grease as some industrial greases will eat rubber and that can lead to disaster. U HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
  16. i've run mine on 12 psi since having it 4 years now. if you dont thrash the living guts out of it, it will last. (maybe) mine is set up to spike to 12 psi and then drops back to 10 psi at end of rev range
  17. didn't know if it was a write off. was told a repo. only in early this week so may not be advertised yet? the guys there were going for a drive in it so don't know how much damage, if any. will maybe find out more details end of the week
  18. think it can be legally on the left hand side so the camera can get u if u are speeding. but that wouldn't happen, would it!
  19. got some info on a possible r34 gtr going up for auction at pickles, 100,000k's and a reserve of $24,500. dont hold me to this as 2nd hand info
  20. has mine been sent yet dan?
  21. found out today when talking to him that glen 'Lumpy' camble tune it through them. cost 50 to use dyno and 160 for tune. he said that he has left hyperdrive and is freelance tuning now?
  22. mate just got his aristo done at Tenagah Motorsports.
  23. mine went more the other way, grabbed ok in the lower gears but when in the taller gears and trying to overtake people, it would just slip. was a extreme clutch, chewed out the flywheel and pressure plate but clutch plate ok!
  24. sorry for the late reply. dunno about the brand as it is a NPC ceramic single plate clutch, far as i know it is a modified R32 GTR clutch. had it in a few months now and ended up getting a billet flywheel as well. I can highly rate these clutches, lovely to use on both street and strip (just need better tyres now as they spin 1st and 2nd).
