  2. ok modded my pipe. hope this works
  3. they seem to be good on stock turbos with standard boost but try go over that and the dreaded creep sets in. im just in the process of modding my split dump and turning it into a bell mouth (a bit of choppy choppy), hopefully this works out and i can finally control my boost , if not i,ll be pulling of my exhaust housing from my turbo and opening up the waste gate hole a little and a bit of internal cleaning up to get more flow through there as well.
  4. i think 32 and 33 are the same. 34 is bent slightly different
  5. what has been done to your car, could be boost cut if you have no after market computer or piggy back computer

  12. these thing spin at 200,000 rpm + . i dont think a bent fin is good especially with cracks. sent it back for sure
  13. how about high flowing injectors?
  14. its only a short pipe. joins just before the flange to the front pipe.
  15. Im having this problem with a high flow. have a split dump. cleaned out the waste gate hole into the main pipe but by the sounds of it it may still be to small for the high flow. boost creeping from 12 to 17 psi. so you gurus recon to get rid of it and put the stock dump back on?
  16. ok. i just had a read of the topic about boost creep and i also am running a split dump pipe. this could possibly be the problem.
  17. gday all Bought a high flow, had it refurbished(2nd hand exhaust housing machine out to fit the larger exhaust wheel (old one was badly cracked)new compressor wheel, new seal and balance and general check over). fitted it to my r33 on Saturday/Sunday and had it tuned on Tuesday. during the tune my tuner was having a few problems and finally told me that the turbo was getting boost creep. had it set on 12 psi at about 2500 and would creep to 17psi by 6500. now i have to take it off again and machine out the waste gate a bit bigger (have milling machine at work) . has anyone done this before ? as far as i can see it is pretty straight forward but any help would be appreciated. Eric

  22. yeh, its adjustable. putting in a high flow turbo and pushing up the rail pressure a little bit for a safety net (not looking for power)
  23. thanks guys
  24. would'nt go near it. theres no way you would get that on stock engine. imagine rev'ing a stocky to 8500rpm. would last 5 mins. my 2 cents worth
