  1. Massive help, thanks for the link, i'll give it another go tomorrow mate. i havent tried cranking the motor, my 32 with 25 that i wired up in it in my drive primes the fuel pump for a few sec's with a starter so im going by that as to weather the 34 motor should do the same. Cant run motor yet, no turbo manifold and lines hooked up. but i know it wont run atm with no fuel pump prime... so gotta sort that first before too much else. cheers. Simon
  2. I have 3 relays near the ecu, each with a diff colour plug, one is a brown plug requiring a unique 6 Pin relay and the other two are blue and black which use the two common blue nissan relays (or same as a common 12V 20amp 4 pin relay) now only one is powering up. the other two have power in various spots but without a diagram i dont know what to look for, I did spot that the blue relay (one not getting power) has a power supply going in on one side but on the other side of the relay nothing triggering it, this is also a green wire. i back traced this and found that this also goes to the SMJ plug so i cut it out and powered that up but made no diff. so im stuck now lol
  3. Hey mate, got stuck into it again and Brown is the common wire your talking about, I found it in the SMJ (F3) plug on the neo loom and cut it out and gave it 12V ign on. thats now powering all the various engine ancillaries but hasnt changed the fuel pump situation, asi said further up, im wondering i i have powered the correct green wire up as there a multiple ones to choose from and i chose the one that went to one of the 3 relays. any help would be appreciated. cheers Simon
  4. Sorry mate this item has just been sold.
  5. great write up, came in handy as i searched the web and couldnt find much info at all. Now i'm trying to put a neo motor into an s14 here and followed your guide word for word. however i cant get the fuel pump to prime. Pin 13 which is a black/pink is wired correctly to the right s14 fuel pump wire (black/yellow in the F3 plug under dash) put multimeter on it while turning the ign on to test for switched earth and im not getting anything. now serveral thoughts as to why... you mentioned wire the Green wire up to switched ign on 12V I found a green wire in the SMJ (f3) large while plug near the ecu plug and traced this back to one of the relays so powered this up. however, there were a lot of other green wires in the same plug, and in the other smaller white under dash plug there were 3-4 green wires in this also... so, do they al need to be powered or have i wired the wrong one to 12V. any help would be appreciated.
  6. Neo R34 turbo AFM in perfect cond, with plug, good upgrade for s13/r32 as they are good for 240 rwkw. $100 in SA, can post for free interstate. PM me or 0409 567 603
  7. thats pretty easy, on the SMJ plug you need to pick out the wire for the injector power and feed that 12V ignition on power. the injectors are powered not thro the ecu or relays but thro a wire on the SMJ plug, i cant remember which colour it is but its a thick wire and it can be traced back to the main plug in the engine bay for the injector loom
  8. Looking at wiring my Neo 25 up into my s14 and i have a pin out chart but the loom and power supply wiring has got me a little confused as they seem to go every where unlike 33 25 looms. has anyone done their own wiring on neo's in 32's or other cars? if they could share some info that would be great! Cheers Simon
  9. hey trent, yeah done that already but mainly its the bulk ofr the TB and the motor hanging off the side of it that i want to ditch.
  10. Hey all, does anyone happen to know if the R33 RB25 throttle body is the same bolt pattern as the neo 25? Im looking at ditching the TCS throttle body and want something else that bolts in place. I know RB20 isnt the same as i have a spare one lying around and compared that. any help would be appreciated. RB20 TB with neo gasket RB20 and RB25 neo TB
  11. i'll back that up. ALL nissan (A31, R31, 32, 33, 34, s13, 14, 15, and anything else rwd in that era) crossmembers have the same chassis rail bolt spacing
  12. 220-240 rwkw seems to be about the ball park for one, depends on supporting mods tho. Will bolt on to the RB manifold so long its a T3 flanged one. personally i'd go a HKS GTRS over a 2530 but they are a little more exxy again
  13. and if 200 is all your getting from a highflow rb20 turbo then all i'd do would chuck on a RB25 turbo and save some coin.
  14. the motor WILL accept a RB20 box and really if its a street car and 200 odd rwkw is your aim then keep the 20 box. otherwise upgrade to the stronger 25 box. Personally i'd sell your 20 and box and put that cash along with your current money into a 25 swap + mods
  15. just buy a 25 turbo.
  16. Adelaide, SA. Sorry i thought i put it in this post, but it was in the link also.

  19. In a GTR anyway, in an Evo or a WRX theres a larger difference
  20. well guess what mate... you can My neighbor bought a S2 R33 which i did all the work on, fitted fmic, exhaust and a host of other basic upgrades. I chucked the R32 ECU out of my 32 drift car which ran a s1 RB25 into this S2 R33 and it ran straight away. So i got him another 32 ecu, then got it chipped and tuned for him and it made 215 rwkw with basic upgrades and stock turbo. Car has never run better. Basically the way it works is that the ignitors are independent to the ECU, the ECU provides the coilpack a trigger signal and the ignitor on top of it gets that signal and fires the pack.
  21. in a GTR theres stuff alll difference between awkw and rwkw since its mostly a RWD set up until power is required to the front wheels.
  22. lol i read what he asked and i saw that you gave the correct answer, so i just chipped in my opinion If you want to make a RB20 loom fit a 25, the S1 motor is the one to do it with, injector plugs and knock sensor loom need to be changed along with quite a few other things. a RB20 PFC will run a RB25 no worries, as will a RB20 ecu. doesnt matter if its series 1 or 2. It just wont control VCT.
  23. IMO is easier to just get a RB25 loom and make it fit your R32, you can still use your RB20 power fc too
  24. yeah i got that much cheers. So you ran the BA-BF replacement deka's then im guessing? as theres two diff part numbers (and prices) for the BA-BF and FG series.
