  1. dont even have to take a plug out, find any old 2nd hand plug and hook it up to the coil pack. make sure the electrode is earthed on the motor somewhere and then crank it over, if it doesnt spark you have an issue, if it does spark then i would say the injector is an issue. best way to test this is with an LED test light, The injector plug (probe it while cranking) should have pulse on one of the wires. If its pulsing then you can eliminate it to a dud injector. If no pulse then your injector wiring needs attention. if you have no coil pack spark, and you have tried swapping the packs... then i would say its a broken wire in the coil pack loom somewhere
  2. i wish i knew i took it for a drive up the street and back, but its got no rego so i didnt go far lol... didnt thrash it as the AFM pipe is dodgy and the tune isnt done yet, gotta finish the stainless afm pipe this week and get a tune.... looking forward to it tho! should go bloody hard!!!!!
  3. Andrew operates his own business serving the performance market and doing custom to order jobs, he can be contacted on [email protected] for all enquires as i do not know the prices off the top of my head, he does have a waiting list but believe me its well worth the wait if your after a quality system.
  4. thats for sure! his attention to detail is 2nd to none!
  5. Hey Guys, i thought i'd post up my new exhaust system that i got custom made from AM Performance here in Adelaide. Its a split dump with custom port divider to suit my 3071R, it also makes it impossible for the exhaust gases to leak out the screamer. This is a track car so we went all out on the design of the system, and the only compromise was the fact that the opening in the rear bumper wouldnt allow for the size twins that Andrew from AM wanted to run. Its a 3 inch dump, going into a 4 inch exhaust with a resonator, then down twin 3 inch AM Performance Mufflers which have a ceramic packing, while they look like pipes they do have a large muffling effect. The end result is one hell of an awesome note from the exhaust, The idle sounds very "cammy" even tho i have stock cams, and it sounds great when you rev it, Its quite unlike any exhaust ive heard before on an RB and certainly sets it apart from all the generic Trust/HKS/Apexi exhaust out there. Next step is intake pipe and tune then im all set for Drift Fest at Calder Park dec 16th. Anyway for now here are some pics and a vid, dont mind the smoke in the video i havent got the AFM pipe on properly so its mega mega rich. I would like to take this opportunity to thank -AM Performance -GCG Turbos -All Type Crash -The Speed Lab -Adelaide Jap

  8. no, take the belt off and realign it
  9. dunno bout that, i sold my AVCR also cause it didnt control boost for shit.... but yeah, i need a new plastic thingy for the cable also as mine has now broken... and you cant buy themk seperate from nissan, need the whole cable
  10. I need an RB20 (either turbo or non turbo) ecu as mine is fried... Will pay postage etc. PM me or reply here
  11. borrow an afm
  12. the VG30 has the same sized turbine housing as the neo turbo (op6) but it has a smaller comp housing and comp wheel, so it will be a downgrade over your current turbo
  13. the sequence order is the same for 25/20 tho, disregard the colours and go by the order
  14. i tried doing this with mine and it didnt work so i sold the rsm and got a navara drive
  15. same as fitting an Rb20/25 to an S13/s14... then you have to factor in the block height so custom engine mounts to bring the motor lower need to be done up. Use a RB crossmember (r32 or cefiro) and make the mounts, then if you go rb25 box you'll need custom mounts and tailshaft there also.
  16. i highly doubt anyone is going to overheat their diff and box oil on the streets
  17. 10mm spacer??? im running a 30mm spacer on mine and it only just clears!!
  18. Try an ell cheapo turbotech bleed valve virst, but i doubt it will do any better then the blitz. have you bent the actuator arm yet?
  19. Mate of mine has a drift R32 2 door with a 25 in it and found a major power drop one night at a drift prac.... pulled into the pits and while free revving the engine the intake pipe was sucking closed.... they had a look at the pod air filter which was almost black it was that dirty... blew some compressed air through it and all was sweet again. only making 220 rwkw on 1.1 bar too so power is not so much a factor with the stock intake pipe
  20. As i said in my post, AM performance dump's would have to be the best in aust.... and no where near the price of a CES one.
  21. a leak maybe? check cooler pipes and clamps
  22. generally yes, so long the markings all line up when the belt goes on, you cant go wrong.
