  1. I have for sale a chipped and tuned RB20DET ecu for a ceffy or similar model, it has switchable duel maps and is in fine working order. Price $150 will post anywhere Will post pics soon. Cheers Simon
  2. cable tieing it is pretty bad, and kills the unit fairly quickly due to the constant rattling around
  3. Kai just means newer version in japan
  4. a hks 2835 is pretty much the same as a GT3071R, of which there is threads about atm. I'd go that
  5. not a bad idea at all really. Whats PTU suppose to stand for tho? its an igniter module, havent heard it called anything else before
  6. awesome toy collection mate, what do you do for a crust may i ask? I'm guessing you have some serious metal work skills.`
  7. UPDATE: Still putting the new turbo on... Got a 3071R from GCG. Fitted it up and its all looking sweet, I took the opportunity to get a new dump pipe made as my old one was cracked plus it was a shitty Advance dump also. My apexi exhaust still had a cat, and the muffler ended way short of my rear bar so i thought may was well get a whole new exhaust. AM Performance also jumped on board to sponsor me, and helped me out with an AWESOME quality split dump and exhaust system along with a metal intake pipe for the turbo. To anyone looking at either a custom dump or replacement dump for your nissan, AM performance are the people to see!! All thats left to do now is fit all the exhaust gear up, run it up, then head down to Jeff at The Speed Lab to tune it, Maybe get some prac in but the aim is to get everything 100% for the trip to Calder for the Drift Fest!
  8. its 355mm i know cause i measured it myself and made mine to suit
  9. yes, the fuse should have blown, the fect it didnt means that sonmeone has either changed the wiring or put a bigger rated fuse in there
  10. sounds like BS to me. however there is little gains in power by having it on uop top, its designed to give more low down torquye
  11. Ive got a working fridge, some tables, desk with draws and book shelf etc. the table are baltic pine and are really decent. everything else can be had for cheap tho.
  12. Get one of these babies from AM Performance in SA, im sure he can send interstate, they do Split pipes in screamer style or return to exhaust which would be best for street. Quality is top notch and they wont leak between the turbine and the gate!
  13. ive got a stock R33 ecu that im getting rid of one if you want a stock un opened one, pm me
  14. turbo is stuffed, the oil seal is prob leaking!
  15. mine is in front of my rad, not ideal i know but so far has not posed any issues what so ever, i even have another hose from my cooler water spray set up spraying some water on the oil cooler also.
  16. my daily owns all your dailys! Bought several years ago for 300 bucks, already had t bone damage and left hand rear 1/4 damage... during the time ive had it the bonnet latch failed while gf was driving it and bonnet flew up on the freeway... timing belt snapped as it still had the ORIGINAL belt and has 350k+ kms new belt was 7 bucks and took me several hours to do... When i bought the car off the girl who crashed it several times.. it hadnt been serviced in 5 years lol... so i changed the plugs, oil and filter, that was it... now every time i do a service on the 32 i use the oil from that and chuck it into the rolla best part is.... as shitty as it looks... the Air con, the heater, P/S, brakes and everything are bloody awesome, starts first crank every time and cost me 15 bucks a week in fuel to get around hahahaha front guards may or maynot have been damaged by drunken fly kicks from me and mates
  17. pretty useless tho unless you port the head also, they are a different shape also. its not as simple just to bolt it on and hope for gains
  18. the oil press light is driven by the sender also... so if thats faulty then its going to makle the light and guage read wacko
  19. it COULDjust be the sender/gauge combo playing up... best to chuck an aftermarket one on there and verify it
  20. lol mine would NOT fit, had to shorten shaft. Cubes DID fit, no shaft mods needed diff ppl get diff results...not sure why. could have to do with crosmenbers used?? Either way measure it up for try the 33 shaft first before working out if you need a modded one or not
  21. yeah it has -M on the end of the part number.... and its bigger then 1inch thats for sure. Looks like if you got the normal sized gate, then your going to have to bore it out and fit a bigger flaper
  22. its nothing new, i run a 20 ECU on my RB25 in my 32... made 220 rwkw and not a lot of low down loss at all...
  23. I'm aboiut to use something that came from the states, its a simple Signal imput switching device with a 10% hystetis (sp) Cost around 40 bucks and you can set the RPM (or speed signal as it can be used for also) to whatever uyou want and it switches any device on or off.
  24. you dont need a FPR at all...
  25. it doesnt hurt to run it over the full line to keep it safe. there may be other issues with your oil control system to cause it to surge under breaks..
