  1. haha the 180 has the stripy stickers on the back. how much for the shell.. let me know he may be keen
  2. results are in. Blue us RB30 orange is rb25. full comparison and nothing else has changed except the bottom end. turbo is 3076 56t with 0.63 rear... falls over pretty hard and adding more boost doesnt increase it.. so rear is a restriction thats for sure. Need a .82 rear for it.

  5. haha its not much use when its shredded
  6. oh and its amazing how much rubber collects behind those overfenders haha
  7. small update... took it to All Type Crash who removed the banged up rear and fixed it all up for me.. sweet! First time actually driving it with the 30DET today and i gotta say.... torque.. where have you been all my life! its not even tuned for the bigger motor but runs so well atm, gave it some boost (not much tho) and it just pulled effortlessly haha hopefully goes well! tune tomorrow!
  8. theres go kart tracks all around aust... getting the OK to let loose on them is another story tho
  9. yeah i should be down for round 3 as for car.. i have one lined up that someone has so kindly offered.. just organising the details now. nothing too crazy i just want to come down and have some good old fashion clean fun
  10. plenty beer was consumed in the making of and during that video haha
  11. haha i can do. track is in port lincoln.. about 700 kms west of adelaide.. its a bit of a drive but well worth it.. last time we were there (when that video features) we stayed 3 days and camped at the track the whole time. its a private track and we pretty much have a free run of it.
  12. Few Mates, private track. Loads of tyres and this is the result for high quality go here https://vimeo.com/46246695 for youtube raped quality here it is
  13. Few Mates, private track. Loads of tyres and this is the result
  14. what i usually do is fill the hole with the silastic thats used to seal it on the block... and use a quality silastic such as permatex or 3bond etc. filling the hole then covering the clean dry sealing suface of the pump has worked well for me for the last 12 years, not had a single issue. but i can see where people go wrong.poor quality sealant or suface prep and leaving the hole open is asking for leaks after a while
  15. hahaha yeah 3 out at the same track day!
  16. haha yeah scrubbing big time.. the bit where it fills the cabin with smoke when doing that high speed 4th/5th gear kink is the suspension compression so much from the wing downforce and pushing the tyre into the cut metal guard under the overfender... left a nice groove in it thats for sure. i have since then cut it higher up
  17. yeah mine was pretty spastic with the neo combo at its peak! here's a video i did at a grip day at mallala did a best of 1:18 flat which is pretty quick but considering i did it with a drift set up on 2nd hand street tyres is pretty funny haha.
  18. looks pretty much on par man.. same torque, same boost and same power figure round about. neo's love e85 + 3076 combo's!
  19. havent got time to swap housings yet... will see how it goes on the dyno first
  20. yes this is true. however when they sell DW knuckles as a bolt in solution and it is far from it you tend to get a little pissed off. i had to modify the following -camber arms -traction rods -machine up a 50mm spacer to sit on top of the coilover cause without it my car was slammed to the ground so hard haha
  21. Yeah I really like them. Loads of grip now. But was such a head f**k to make them fit
  22. Yeah I'm pretty curious to see how responsive it well be compared to before..was toying with the idea of changing the rear housing to a bigger one tho
  23. Yes same length but stronger. Good for 400 rwkw or so.
  24. Had anyone used a 3076 with say .63 rear? Reason I ask is because that's the turbo I was running on my rb25 and now I have gone 3l bottom end I've pretty much changed nothing else. Curious to see how it will go might be a bit small I think. Was making 330 rwkw on 20 psi on the rb25 and full boost by 4000
