  1. No they don't. They used to and the guy who did it is the guy I was talking about a few posts up. He works from home now and is am absolute guru when it comes to boxes
  2. I sold my stag cause out was no good for towing. Don't get me wrong it did it but not what I would call well. I found it chewed thro fuel and wouldn't sit in 4 th at all only 3rd for cruise
  3. I've got a good contact who does gearbox repairs.hes based in ne burbs of adel. prices very reasonable. Pm me for contact details.
  4. thats good to know. yeah a heavier base car would make for a more stable arrangement.. i plan on using stabiliers bars etc and my trailer is pretty decked out so hoping it will be ok. how was the turbi diesel on fuel for towing may i ask?
  5. i use the 6 heat range running 300 +rwkw and e85
  6. had a read thro this.. good info here. I need a new pump and i want to get the one with the highest flow. its looking like the Stock Rb25/26 one is the way to go. I will be using it in my drift car that see's a lot of sustained rpm, i considered the N1 however the other issue the car will also spend time sitting in line up after a run and this is where ive been having temp issues also. So i need to factor in low RPM flow also. what would be the best pump and pully combo for my rb25? redline is 7K rpm
  7. Well I ended buying a 08 model turbo diesel duel cab 4x2 hilux sr. haven't used out for towing yet but it send to have mountains of torque. Down the track ill prob get a chip for it then exhaust for a little extra poke again
  8. private own go cart track about 650 kms west of adelaide
  9. its a rb25 turbo with OP6 rear housing running 5 psi. does ok
  10. and... watch the last 3 mins for epicness
  11. helps to have some form of cooling fans.... one of the thermpo fans snapped all the blades off basically it was do 2 laps and then pit fpor 30 mins to cool it off... but some of us took the "do two laps and rest it" a bit too far LOL
  12. what did you all for new years? we had a private party at a track and did skids all day and night... on the count down we all put sparklers and glow sticks on the cars and went out on belts... heres a vid lol defo rates as the best NYE ever
  13. UPDATE: well i got busy and finished the slapper car in time for a private new years party we had... car's done, and its truely epic haha. some pics and video of it in action. engine only running 5psi boost, tune was done at the track using a wideband only. limiter set to 5800 rpm and yeah... sooo much torque lol has no troubles baking the rears.
  14. anyway. over it. it wasnt just me he messed around.
  15. thanks for the feedback mate! much appreciated. progress has been slow with xmas and new years... getting back into it very soon. oh and i have also been working on my other car.. slapper 180sx with VL RB30E in it converted to turbo with RB20 loom, CAS, Rb20 ECU and RB20 injectors... got it all running and hope to do some skids in it soon haha
  16. good for you. he's a time wasted for everyone else who tried to buy it. dont be a dick if your selling stuff. simple as that
  17. you got it all wrong. 8/6 for a nissan is fine for drift. its actually a very stiff rate. you may notice some cars like supras and chasers running 12 kg springs but thats due to different suspension leverages requiring different rates. an 8/6 combo with quality shocks works wonders for drift. works510: im very happy with the ER's had no probslems with them at all.. they have done a full season now with zero signs of issues.
  18. Same.can be said for the r chassis. An r32 its one of the easiest cars to drift out of the box. Any rwd nissan will do the trick
  19. Theres some bad advice in this thread. stiffer is not better. You need some body roll in order to transition correctly. For example.my car runs 8/6 coilovers (bc er) with eliminated rear sway bar and stock front sway bar. It rolls but its well controlled. Another thing to remember is that if your roll centre is up shit creek it will roll excessively.
  20. Good luck seller is a time waster
  21. haha yeah i usually disconnect the fuel pump before doing that cas test.
