  1. what can i say... the epc data is wrong. they are most certainly different from that of a s1/2 style rb25 pump
  2. I can confirm that neo uses a n1 style pump
  3. if you just testing, then leave it in and just disconnect one side. takes no time at all that way and disables the bar. then reconnect it after a session on the track and compare back to back. i run a stock sway bar up front in mine and no bar in the rear. works well for me. I personally didnt like the feeling of no front bar but that was on my set up, all set ups are different pretty much. deletion of the rear bar has given me so much more control at large angles
  4. Defo personal pref. Try it with and then with out and see what you think
  5. the latest pics are showing a massive improvement.. good to hear that you took on board criticism and actually improved it. props to you guys.
  6. thanks mate... plenty more work to come in the next few days or so!
  7. well.. lots done today! i'll let the pics do the talking starting to wire the haltech in..
  8. RB26 headgasket - Genuine Nissan brand new, not needed $50 RB25 MLS permaseal headgasket 2nd hand but re-usable $50 Intercooler 300x450x76 with 2.5 inch outlets $90
  9. i had a hydro in the car when i bought the shell... did 1 track day with it before i ripped it out.. im not a fan of the hydro interfering with the footbrake assy. due to the way i drive with lots of braking/handbrake at the same time i just dont like it on the same circuit. In my KE i had twein callipers on the rear with an duel separate circuits.. that works brilliantly. Will be doing the same on the s14 soon. But really the cable handbrake with good pads works faultlessly as for the flocking kits.. i got a local mate to do it for me.. he used an Ebay kit.
  10. nice tip... i prob would have done the same but i bought a complete engine gasket kit from the states... but yeah full PITA to remove
  11. too true.. i just dont have the budget to afford to pay someone else to do everything else for me. plus im a qualified mechanic so i'd be stupid to palm it off anyway haha. another day done... more work done.. not as much progress as i'd like as i spent more time scraping gaskets off the rb26 intake gear then actually achiving stuff... man those gaskets are a fkn PAIN to remove!!
  12. i never said it was a terrible manifold.. just that its a good thing its cheap. theres no way i'd pay big money for one of these. the welding still looks like it was done by a monkey
  13. Except this isn't a build thread, its a product being sold and therefore subject to public scrutiny.
  14. what do you want me to say? that it looks fantastic? cause it doesnt. it looks cheap and the price reflects it.. if anything this is a prime example of function over form. which in itself isnt really criticism
  15. nah i just want to finish this thing.... sick of working so many late nights on it... thats the down side of doing 90% of shit yourself i guess
  16. and another update. And this is the cluster mount for my haltech IQ3 dash.. more pics once i get it
