  1. yea you have to change the inlet to suit the 4 inch comp cover, but the exhaust bolts straight on. a have purchased a 18psi actuater so that should solve the boost dropping off. i will install it in the next few days and then re dyno. i will post up the results when done
  2. hey cubes if you read my post above it clearly states using a gt30 compresser cover on the vg30 exhaust housing which makes a gt3071r-sp. for the same price as a high flow it flows a lot more air. its just a option that i dont think a lot of people know about.
  3. i was only letting people know what i have bolted to my auto 33 still with standard cams, although it is at 20psi.
  4. 1 - $150 vg30 turbo 2 - send to gcg and pay $1800 3 - they convert it into a gt30 using the vg30 ehaust housing 4 - bolts straight back in original position same dump etc 5 - get tuned.. 275 kws at the wheels full boost by 3200rpm

  6. i have a series 1 r33 auto so i cant comment on series 2 or any other type of auto. but with the series 1 you buy a power fc , you plug it in, and you drive it. its that simple all the tossers on here that tell you it wont work all drive manuals and have never ever tried it, or even been in a auto r33. so for all those auto r33's out there, get onto greddy from here, and order a power fc from his group buy and enjoy.. safc etc are shit. plug in a power fc and never look back
  7. the gtst r33 auto is a 4 speed the gts r33 auto is a 5 speed
  8. yea im at 275 kws pulls like a train. if you like doing burnouts it changes 1st, 2nd, into drive then you can just play with it in drive. crazy smoke from the 17's over 200kmph on the spot. auto just has a MV shift kit, and a large trans cooler. and im running a power fc

  12. hey fella you mentioned that you might be converted to a auto. come for a spin in mine and see what you think. im at 275kws at the moment with a PFC, but by the end of the week i should be over 300kws. make up your own mind. your a respected voice on here it would be nice to have your thoughts on a strong r33 auto.

  15. well said most guys on here drive manuals, and are very intimidated by the possibility of been beaten by an auto. its very simple really.. the next street meet out at AIR i will be there with my wifes car, and will be more then happy to see how many manual gtst will do a 11 sec quarter...
  16. we are getting way of topic here.. can anyone suggest why the increase in boost isnt changing the power output, and why is the boost dropping off so much? is it the tune? the ehaust housing? the EBC?

"Yours is the only auto ive heard of using a power fc without any problems" have you heard of someone trying it and it didnt work? there a lot of people in the world that fill everyones head with bullshit! but they all drive manuals. i dont own a 32 auto so i cant comment, but the 33 auto works exactly the same as it did before i changed ecu. at the end of the day what have you got to loose. buy one plug it in, if it works fine then get it tuned and enjoy. if it dosent work put it back in the box and sell it as brand new. and get your money back.. there are heaps of guys on here that will buy it from you.
  18. well.. some rb25 pistons take a beating some dont my car only just clicked over 40,000 klm from new, i was pumping 13 psi into it with AFR of around 11 and one good rev - power slide around a corner and, that was it. lost compression in no 6 from 155 down to 55. stripped the motor and i actualy had 4 pistons with cracked ringlands the rings were still intact on all 6 cylinders, and the car was still making good power, just ruff at idle so you make up your own mind.. thrash it till it blows, or build it properly from the start and enjoy 20psi and 300 - 350 kws for years to come.

  23. hey i have just gone down this rd. i can highly recomend John Moyle Engineering on 82696067 i supplied them with all the parts that i wanted installed and my bare block and they cleaned, machined, balanced and assembled the short motor including a installing a Jun wide crank collar onto the crank suit a N1 oil pump fo under $1300 im currently at 276kws with the standard head and cams, so give me a week or two to get some cams and 300kws is a very easy target.

  25. just looking for the best place to buy tomei poncams part no. 143020 i think i have a s1 r33 and have found them for $890 delivered. just wondering if anyone can beat that.
