  1. I read another thread on V35 BCM. Could be bad earth. Disconnecting the battery for 20 mins apparently will reset BCM.
  2. try unplugging it all and put them back in. could be as simple as corroded pins. should look something like this
  3. great stuff thanks. how long did that take you to do ? Does Scotty sell those as a kit ? cheers
  4. Any way to restore the pics in this Ryan ?
  5. would be fun to launch the stag in the snow.. even better, 1/4 mile drags
  6. Yep I read somewhere if you disconnect the throttle module, it will need a relearn.. Anyone know how to perform the three relearn procedures ? Accelerator pedal, throttle valve and idle ? Also, is disconnecting the battery a good idea to reset ECU ?
  7. yeah I know, but If I make ignition changes on the E-manage, will it show different on the informeter ignition readings ?
  8. Informeter question So I have a Greddy informeter, which is quite handy as I intend to make some small changes to my tune. I have e-Manage installed. I know it communicates with the factory ECU. But are the readings on the informeter the factory set values or E-manage adjusted values ( eg : ignition ) ? I'm assuming all the info is off sensors so should be adjusted values ? cheers
  9. I think if you unplug throttle sensor, you need to re-calibrate it. Sounds like e-throttle module has a fault.
  10. Great stuff Dale, sending you my details now.
  11. Consider a floating valve BOV if you're stock one is gone. I found the Turbosmart Kompact completely the wrong choice for this engine. We have an electronic throttle which operates slowly, meaning the bov needs to be super responsive to + and - pressures. My car shuddered hugely on decel with the Kompact, as many others too. Springs are too stiff and outlet orifice is too small. Keep stock one unless you plan to run higher boost. Just put in a manual boost-t and eliminate the factory solenoid bleed system to get a better response and a couple more psi
  12. Come on Daleo, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease
  13. You should cut out the electric lock, button switch , and rear wiper motor and keep for spares. I have a spare tailgate, I think you have to cut the composite to get to them.
  14. Yeah I'm very interested too, same area.
  15. Yeah $320 is a bit rich for a single brace.. I'm trying to tame my addiction for further mods
  16. where the hell do you find all this stuff Josh.. I've searched and searched and rhd is the only result for the other rear member, nothing in Yahoo Japan that one looks like it would do more than the other brace too, looking at the mounting. do you wanna sell it to me.. you don't need two rear chassis braces
  17. Nice purchase, looks like you have a suspension kit under there too. Great work car, I use mine for building. I love going to the timber yard and parking next to all the utes and vans.. Haven't seen another Stag in there yet
  18. what do you think of the exhaust ? I fitted silencers in mine..
  19. yeah but what's nicer to drive ? a pulsar, a swift or an R33 ? plus you'll probably see all Skylines rising in value over the next decade due to the ongoing demand there's quite a few seriously dedicated Skyline wreckers in Sydney now building and selling cars I just heard an R34 GTR V Spec Nur sold for $500000 in Japan If you were 16 again with todays cars, could you settle for a piece of shit Suzuki
  20. no way they'll fit -20 is way off +30 is the best offset they'll be 20mm outside the guards and that's rolled and flared I have 18 x 9.5 + 30 all round Dead flush with rolled and flared guards Front rims hit the control arms a bit, I took out some with an angle grinder. There's a sticky wheel offset thread..
  21. Yep it looks like the Legalis but who knows what the mid muffler is. Anyway fitted two silencers into it. Way more quiet, went from 105.4 Db to 95.7 Db at 4000 rpm Sounds a bit deeper, and all that crackle has gone. Shouldn't effect my power levels either. The exit orrifices in the muffler are around 46 mm then flare to 83. These cheap silencers have 39mm pipe, which I cut a bit shorter so the ends were well in the 83mm section. Had to dremel the shit out of the tips to get them in. MOV02764.AVI MOV02766.AVI
  22. I've got the gaskets ready to go. How much of a danger is it now with oil running down onto the turbo. Should I get it done immediately ? How easily does oil ignite with heat in the open ? cheers
  23. Yeah what I dont' get is these guys are risking jail time for a $12000 car or less. Gotta be joy riders like Luis. How are they getting around the factory immbolisers ...
  24. ok sorry revisiting this again. People are constantly commenting how loud my car is so back to work on it. My exhaust is Legalis R, twin 83mm tips. Fujitsubo stamp on the rear muffler Rear muffler is straight through with a perforated inner skin. (Boomer) I can see the inlet with a torch. Internal outlets look 50mm then flare to 83mm Can anyone confirm this is the genuine design for this system ? Thinking of fitting a chambered rear if it won't be too restrictive.. thanks
  25. it has new belts, and started squealing straight after they were fitted. only squeals for 2-3 seconds but it's really loud. where is the tensioner ?
