  1. NISSWRECK in SA have a BCM for $250
  2. Hi, I'm thinking of selling my GTS-T 95 Already a rocketship. Forged 25/30 337 rwkw Got all the goodies. I'm after $22000. I will be putting up all the info soon, I'm in Sydney though.
  3. Important to find a mechanic who is familiar with these engines. Also important to find nearby wreckers or performance parts suppliers who can get parts for this car. Do this before you need any..
  4. I don't think you'll need any cooling mods unless you plan to track it or launch hard at every set of lights. And that's if you have a high flow turbo. I think the stock cooler will do just fine where you are. A lot of the modified M35s here are in Adelaide and Melbourne, long hot Summers with solid full weeks in the 40's
  5. maybe wheel bearings.. jack up each corner , and check wheels for play. grab the tyres , push and pull hard in all directions otherwise gearbox or tcu could be playing up. have you or the previous owner had the transmission serviced ? fluid needs changing every 80000 km
  6. I found the tops of the plastic covers on the sides within the drain voids were blocked from years of leaves/ dirt. The water needs to drain behind these.
  7. An other small mod is the fuel pump. I noticed better response immediately with the Walbro 255 lph If you run a constant power source to this pump, the stock 370cc injectors will be good for around 410cc ..( but that's 100% duty cycle ). You can't use the variable voltage power source for this pump, like the factory set up. Gotta run one off the battery. Someone here mentioned if you fit a straight through 3 inch exhaust, without any fuel support, you might be running lean as the stock ECU will run out of scope. Hence possible piston damage- just something to consider. This was attained from compression testing several cars with aftermarket exhausts.. So in a nutshell- stage 1 - exhaust and fuel pump, brakes, suspension stage 2- exhaust, fuel pump, highflow turbo, better BOV , brakes, suspension stage 3- exhaust, fuel pump, highflow turbo, better BOV, injectors, Piggyback ECU, intercooler, aftermarket intake, brakes, suspension Have fun..
  8. Hi Martin, Welcome to the M35 scene, Great car to drive isn't it. The NM35 Stagea is not really equivalent to anything, as the VQ25DET engine was only for the Stagea. No other car ever had it. The equivalent in terms of date of manufacture is the V35 Skyline which has many interchangeable parts. The 350Z too. If yours is completely stock, exhaust is usually the first stop. Once you fit a free flowing dump pipe and 3 inch exhaust, you'll be blown away by the difference Or if you wanna keep it quiet, just do the dump ( Scotty here makes them or you can get Dolphin from Japan ) Best exhaust seems to be the Fujitsubo Legalis R is terms of flow and tone. Next thing for me was brakes as stock are ridiculous for a car almost 1700kg. You can get used R34 GT-T slightly modified to fit, or get V35, 350Z Brembos straight bolt on. (Track edition brakes ) I went Brembos wand kept stock master cylinder, feels like a small car to drive now, even towing heavy loads. You'll need to check your rims fit over though and your spare !! Don't go too hard with your suspension as these are common to tear and crack in the sub-frames and shock mounts. Remember, heavy car, you can't shovel it like an R32 for long. Nismo S-tune suspension lowers the car 25mm and gives it a sport feel, 20% stiffer than stock. Not sure if it came for AR-X, otherwise BC's are heaps popular..
  9. I never noticed any deteoration in smoothness at all. I had mine too high and was hitting boost cut a bit. ECU will pick up extra airflow and boost and dump fuel accordingly. Factory fuel maps go up to 18psi. You'll need to bypass the bleed off solenoid and tee in there. For some reason my e-manage was unable to clamp boost cut so Jez tricked the ECU by altering the boost source. I think he ran a vac line off the actuator back to the boost sensor, so the ECU thinks it's at 16. I had 16psi off the spring with Scottys actuator mod preload
  10. no mate, they're off ebay just relocated the mounts to suit the hatch, bolted through into the drain void. filled and touched up the holes in the wing, underneath and so close to the roof you can't see them mounted with sikaflexed rubber pads
  11. Put on another rear wing. The silver one was a bit short for my liking. This one came 1350mm long which I cut down on my drop saw to 1220mm. Gonna spray my mirrors black too. Now I can carry sheet material on my roof
  12. Translation needed Hi, Could someone please translate this. It's instructions for Ignition chip for E-manage Ultimate to clear CEL Even better to clarify jumper settings for VQ25DET thanks
  13. Removing Side mirrors off NM35 Gonna spray my mirrors satin black so need to remove and separate the outer piece. I see three screws underneath. Any tips in getting it off.. thanks
  14. so here's some data logging of my starts if you're interested. Need E-manage software to read cold - ( car sitting overnight ) - perfect hot - ( car sitting for a few minutes ) - good warm -(car sitting for a couple or more hours) - bad you see on warm1 log it took 4 long goes to start I'm assuming it's water temp affecting the injector output duration and or vapour lock ? Strange though also log shows water temp at 6 degrees ??? That was after car sitting for 6 hours and a mild day. Maybe E-manage skewing readings ? cold1.lg2 hot1good.lg2 warm1.lg2
  15. hmm maybe sucking in hot engine bay air through open duct, don't have power duct seals. didn't think it really mattered once car is in motion..
  16. NM35 Intake Temp sensor I have an informeter plugged in to my OBDII, showing intake temp etc. Where is the sensor that monitors this ? AFM or TB I have very high temps when cars been sitting aound and takes ages to cool down whilst driving. Was at 70deg last hot day . cheers
  17. Keep looking for a Nismo S-tune kit. stock suspension is way too soft for a 1600kg wagon, even worse once you fit sway bars S-tune is 20% stiffer, awesome mod. If you search it at RHD Japan, all the specs are there, you could easily calculate close approximates for stock rates
  18. If you're in the northern beaches, there's Justin at CGR performance Narrabeen. He's also a trained Haltech technician from way back. Built my 25/30, hasn't missed a beat.
  19. Water in the Tyre Well Hi, Anyone know if this a common problem and where it may be entering ? M35 cheers
  20. sorry, that was a poor taste in humour.. bad luck mate I backed my boat into my wifes MINI R53 last year ...
