  1. Driftline Racing... in campbellfield, VIC http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ep...ld-t216749.html I'm running standard japanese belts (put em back in after compliance) with the guide. its such a bitch in an R32 coupe without the guide, your belt always gets caught in the door n stuff.
  2. sorry the one pictured in the first post isn't the one I ended up getting. Updated now. Got a D-Max copy bonnet in the end from Viva Garage. Driver side of the bonnet sits 1cm above the guard compared to the passenger side which sits flush. will have to cut away at it in places to make it sit flush on both sides. here's the original in CF:
  3. My shitbox... pre-prep and paint.
  4. good experiences up until recently... for soem reason the stuff we ordered in the past was of decent quality, but of late they've been... well... questionable. see my build thread for the quality of the stuff provided. rear bar had a gap between the boot more than about 1cm wide... even after mounting it properly, any more flex and it'd have cracked.
  5. that's the NATS 4 door R32 to Ute conversion from like the mid 90's. farmers now have access to WGNC34 stagea's that have been converted to utes.
  6. indeed... luckily I actually work for the shop (well used to while I was in melb) and I've seen worse kits come in on cars, and go out looking really good, so I trust that the work will get done properly. Chris, I actually wanted to talk to you about gettin some stuff powdercoated, specifically the brakes, engine covers and wheel centres. PM?
  7. it just bent up the outer skin
  8. you guys can make up your own minds about the quality of the guards n bumpers needless to say there's gonna be a bit of work left before it all starts looking good... and unfortunately a bit of fibreglass and bog to go with it. wheel offsets are 9.5" width with -10 offset up front and 10" width with -16 offset at the back. although that's tentative... I haven't ordered the outer bands for the wheels from japan yet... will be ordering them to suit the width of the car so it just sits a couple of mm outside of flush. Being a 3 piece its really handy cos you can alter the width to taste.
  9. More pics.... clearly the Type J front bumper and the vertex aren't are good match... and considering the vertex bumper we received was about 2 inches out of meeting up with the panels when mounted... might be a blessing in disguise.
  10. lol i don't think the sarcasm came across well in my post, that you you DON'T flare a guard.
  11. we had to cut out some bits of my car, so we decided to have some fun beforehand... thought of this thread and the "natural guard flaring" techniques discussed. its natural... honest. best results guaranteed.
  12. Instead... this is what ash's car looks like now:
  13. correction... chaser... mark X... uhhh cresta... whateverthefuck else body shape they decide to put on that platform.
  14. the bus where i live didn't even arrive today. fkn 2 hours late to work cos there was a backlog on taxi's too.
  15. is that from Superior CIA? I've had em ship international. You have to ring em, talk to em and hook it up. Oh get someone who knows good japanese to talk to em though, none of them can speak english well enough. Failing that get Laurence on the forums to buy for you and ship international... he's pretty good with that sorta stuff. Loving their new range of R34 carbon bits. Half tempted to get their carbon rear diffuser. Its so porn.
  16. I had R32 GTR wheels front and back on my R32 GTS4, and the GTR wheels were about 5mm inside the gaurds. Didn't require rolling, but I didn't have the car super low either (twas lowered about an inch with about 3 finger space between tyre and gaurd).
  17. does the dildo come in longer lengths? can you get any with stuff embedded in them other than bubbles?
  18. uhhh... copies are floating around the interwebs now hell, i don't even have a copy anymore
  19. no return no replace baroneh? not even if medieval item has the deep canyon scarring?
  20. remember the transmission goes backwards lads
  21. i got to drive it cos i was the only one small enuff to fit in the bucket seat
  22. think that was Gary's son posting, not Sydneykid
  23. oh and a tutorial on the conversion... not quite MSD, but you should get an idea of the general process: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Vn...Rb-t178522.html
  24. shouldn't be a problem. once I get EOI's for about 10 mags I'll send out payment details, and make the purchase and ship it down to send out.
  25. you can use the twin post MSD GM coils, and wire them to run off your PTU. http://www.msdignition.com/coil_blaster_9_8224.htm used them before, much better results (imo) than splitfires.
