  1. tits around nuts good enough for ya?
  2. just to stress... i need someone to cut the clear back before polishing it though...
  3. will have to come check it out
  4. but mine's only been crashed once
  5. is that a garage yanack kit?
  6. I could go on and on about how awesome J-Spec is... but i'd be biased guess i trust the guys i work with
  7. is bleck. car's just been recently resprayed and needs a lil cutting back of the clear and final polish to make it bling. might ask east coast customs if i can borrow the guy who they use for detailing.
  8. w00t. have ceffy. in brissy. can drive places. fuck you mr bus driver man for your shitty service and unreliable times. fuck you public transport. fuck you by my middel finger.
  9. So the ceffy just made the trip from south melbourne to west brisbane. 1850km's later... it looks like arse. I need to get it cut n polished, is anyone on the forum in the trade, or have a hookup from a mate who does it? I'm in Toowong, so somewhere around there's good, but will travel anywhere in Brissy really. Weekends would be good.
  10. hmm... those door skins and sideskirts are nice... now if only the front and rear didn't look like it came out of the 90's.
  11. from memory wheel center bolts have to be hand torqued.
  12. just make sure the ones you advertise aren't below the "retail" price cos we wouldn't want people having a realistic idea of what things are worth </sarcasm>
  13. find someone you trust in the other state (be it another SAU member or a relative or mate), have the car taken to a trusted workshop, and if all is well then book it onto a rail transport. An auto R32 GTSt will probably cost you about 8k with reg in melb, and funnily enough an auto R33 GTSt will probably cost you the same amount. The market's died in the arse over here due to petrol prices and you'll find that due to the oversaturation of kids wanting to get rid of their once cool toys you can squeeze em hard on price.
  14. lol Hyde bar was closed last night... probably closed down by the Department of Health for that godawful carpet they insist on putting in front of the bar that has soaked up 2 years worth of spilt alcohol. Hyde's OK early on in the night, but if you go too late it'll be overrun with curries... bleh. Saturday nights, Seven in St Kilda's pretty good.
  15. sure you weren't wearing your favourite "fuck tha police" t-shirt on the day? grabbing you by the throat is a bit harsh, and if you were smart you'd have got his badge number or name. Either way, call the local police dept (to the place where the party was), and report the incident.
  16. depends on the 3 piece, if its a sandwiched 3 piece (most non racing wheels) which are outer half, then centre, then inner half then you'll have to bust em apart... racing 3 pieces (VS-XX, Miester, some BBS etc) are centre, then the two halves with the centre bolted to the outside of the rim, these you can get away with not having to split the rims, just unbolt the centre. either way best to get it done at a mag wheel repair shop (not a tyre shop) as they'll be able to torque the bolts up precisely and so on.
  17. haha i'm still creating a mockup of the layout of the forum, once that's done I'll do the banner, when I get to that stage I'll definitely be hittin you up for some high res versions
  18. indeed. no GT-R. they all go to tokyo for the GT-R review from the looks of the preview... or some place with a fast train (maybe they painted the french TGV white )
  19. i got yo back bruh no really, i do
  20. you there! I want you photos for the new SAU forum designs I'm making.
  21. i've been in an R31 that ran straight gas with a sprinkling of nitrous. ran better and faster than my petrol based R32 GTSt at the time. Gas Research in Hallam VIC (I think that's where they are) do conversions. Prices for ye olde RB30E start at $1115. They can do the DOHC engines too. They do dual fuel and straight, although its probably healthier to run straight as you don't have different mixtures n stuff to worry about. Keep in mind there is a govt rebate on conversion too in some states. http://www.gasresearch.com.au
  22. with KL, like japan, you gotta go into the county side to find all the tuning shops. Sepang's nuts, and the GT brings out all the Waja warriors on the roads. Mind you there's a healthy sprinkling of ceffies, s13's and toyotas in the mix, not to mention the guys who make the yearly pilgrimage from Singapore (these guys usually bring the expensive cars) and Thailand (the 1JZ crazy country).
  23. worst. sign placement. ever. nice pics tho.
  24. should've just told em that she had one of your mates in the boot chopped up in pieces... they'd have been in like donkey kong, helicopters n all.
