  1. as far as scenery that'll lend itself to cars being placed on them, which represent australiana... here's some I've been eyeing:
  2. i know Tsuchia and Amemiya go way back... but why is he not driving the GTR? thought he loved em?
  3. So you think you've got some artsy shots? I'm gonna be redoing the design of the forums, it'll have a "light" and "dark" theme, so will have two different banners to suit. In addition there may be different banners for the V35 section, the Ceffy section, and if I can be arsed, the different states. The photos would have to be preferrably lending themselves to backgrounds etc... not necessarily in a studio setting either: are ones that have been posted that come to mind. Also please post up photos of your local town etc which I could use as a backdrop. Its been almost 4 years since I did the banner up there atm. As I said the photos don't have to be perfect, as long as they're high enough a resolution that I can touch them up, and change backdrops etc. Feel free to watermark your stuff if you're linking them, I'll contact you for originals if I like your pic.
  4. Spotted at Indooroopilly Bus terminal at 8:40am yesterday
  5. pretty much all the R34 frontend conversions I've seen on R32's suck. The R32 has a much lower bodyline, and the R34 is higher, I've seen conversions where they've retained the low bodyline and it looks like it has downs' syndrome, and where they've retained the R34 bodyline it looks like the front is all chunky and and the rear just tapers off. In countries where you can't buy an R34 cheap I can see the point, but when you can buy an R34 GTt for $6000 more than an R32 GTSt I really don't see the point in spending all that money to do a conversion. Sure its novel the first time someone does it, but the 20th time... really?
  6. definitely removable. its what makes povo headlights into "N1's" here's the tabs that i got from nissan (and part numbers if you can make it out)
  7. hmm might come see you guys when the ceffy's up here.
  8. AIT's been selling that front bar for yonks... just took a while for someone to make a decent looking car with it. Its based on the GT-R Proto as well, not the production R35 GT-R http://www.aitracing.com/shop/gtr-style-co...upe-p-1445.html
  9. yeah, I've dealt with streeter and laurence a fair bit, i trust those boys with my money... they've gone well out of their way to help a brotha out before.
  10. haha told ya they were heaps better than a 350Z jojo.
  11. spotted a white coupe last night in front of Malaya in Sunnybank Hills, QLD.
  12. unless done properly, looks good from far, but looks far from good up close. vinyls tend to get fubar'd in the aussie summer heat, and unless you use a quality vinyl from 3M for example it can react with your paint or peel/warp.
  13. http://www.bmcforums.com/showthread.php?p=1349133 http://jalopnik.com/386636/matte-black-fer...e-geneva-street
  14. wouldn't put it past some crazy countryside workshop to put an R32 front n back on a KE71 rolla in true malaysia boleh style.
  15. I just moved to brissy, and I can't wait to move back. its a great place if you wanna grow old and die, and maybe buy a boat. picture this... the whole city is like Narre Warren or Packenham. the shops here suck balls, fashion is 2 years behind. They all close at 5pm, cafes are open till 6ish (compared to 3am). there is no such thing as a 24 hour KFC/maccas/kmart/safeway/coles etc. nightspots suck ass, but the japanese restaurants rock. there's no strong ethnic pockets here like in melb, so you don't get good greek/italian/indian/malaysian/chinese restaurants like back home. you just get mildly ok ones. the rest of QLD (sunshine coast, gold coast) might be more happening, but brissy... really... wtf? people here are really friendly tho, but so are people in melb... its just sydneysiders who suck ass. everyone's more sexually active tho adult shops in every suburb metres from houses... none of this hidden away in industrial areas... and most of the women I've run into have no issues walking in, and picking up porn or toys. most melb women i've met wouldn't dream of it.
  16. could be the one from malaysia that was crashed with a repaint if that's stock black, then that's hot for a factory mass produced car!
  17. maybe he's trying to subtly suggest its a BN kit
  18. might be after the body kit, and late model tail lights. depends on your prices as it needs to come to melb so have to factor in shipping costs too. pics please.
  19. go to driftline, ask for my old front bumper, call me when you're at the shop. it might actually be in the dumpster, or be going to the tip soon, so better hurry i guess.
  20. its a japanese fibreglass bar made for GTSt's to give them a GTR look (including speed holes). so you don't get the unghastly gap under the headlights when you mount it. mind you it needs a fair bit of work cos the fibreglass is fubar.
  21. there's a couple from memory... I'll see if I can get you exact numbers tomorrow.
  22. you can have my front bar for free, fits perfect, but needs a little repair though... it got backed into by a chick in a mini:P
  23. the stuff Superior CIA sells is real carbon with little to no fibreglass usage. Its quality stuff with perfect fitment, moulds and cloth. Well worth the squillions of yen they ask for them.
