  1. ^^ looks like Ni too... hairy frikken islander. lol upgraded about 7 times since the last time we met actually
  2. The most common place to find Evo owners online is the VIC Exec section of SAU.
  3. evening max... been a while hey? welcome back to the fold. lol nice buy too
  4. yeah... what Al said... rolled inner lip vs flared guard are totally different kettle of fish.
  5. ohh... you're in oki... haha no wonder. you need to be in the mountain regions of japan to have stags in abundance.
  6. they attach as well as any factory item should... like they were meant to be there all along
  7. wow... spammers are learning how to attach photos too. cool. these guys are doin a better job of posting stuff for sale than half the muppets that use our classifieds section!
  8. the boxes are the same (i'm runnng a GTR one in my GTS4) but the ratios are different. A lot of GTR's in japan that are used for zeroyon swap to GTS4 gearboxes as a cheap first mod for this reason. I'd look at getting a stagea or laurel AWD RB25 engine as well... esp in japan where you can just hook up an F-Con V and tune it. The availability of those engines in australia is pretty rare, but over there its not that hard to find em.
  9. the two brackets at the bottom are the ones you need to get if your headlights don't already have em. Contact Laurence on the forums to get a pair. Failing that you can go ghetto and bend two pieces of aluminium and make a stay for the grille.
  10. kevin, head up to driftline they have the fender flaring tool at the shop. they do those types of fender flares at least once a week. depends how much you want to flare it though. if it involves stretching the metal too much then you have to paint it. either way, its best left to someone who is a panel beater to do as they know how to treat the panel before and after to prevent paint cracking, fading etc
  11. Nick, I've been thinking of translating the stuff in the HyperRev mags for ages... just never got the time... one of these days I'll put it into electronic form.
  12. still got both the aristo ones if you want em. and omg! you bought an aristo! hahaha
  13. FTW = For The Win WTF = Do You Want To Eat? WFT = Web File Transfer / World Fisheries Trust
  14. if we were to take the glass out etc it'd extend the timeframe by two weeks... its the main deciding factor... we're gonna try and do some tricky stuff to blend it in... without blending it in. it'll either turn out shit... or epic the respray is only the outer panels and edges n door jams etc... engine bay's already black as is the inside of the boot etc... the other alternative is to flare the metal out... but cos of the track damage on the driver side it's pretty hard... easier to just cover the battle scars with fibreglass.
  15. well just to update, today we decided to chop the Viva gaurds (remove the lips that are supposed to go under the boot and door etc) and redo the glass. Haven't decided on how to blend it... a full blend will require the windows out etc... which is a long and complex process. probably won't go with the option... this means we'll have to go with a more ghetto look for the rears, with the panel edges visible
  16. lol our site's been begging for a new front end redesign for a while... for now the GTRblog feed keeps the front page lively, otherwise its just Nissan News... which is boring. because we don't really have time to be making news updates outselves. when we get around to redoing the front page, we'll make sure the hot topics get more feature time.
  17. i reckon it looks cool as, as it is. leave it. if everyone's 32 looked the same it'd be pretty boring. go the wangan style 32.
  18. lol is that duck tail off an AE86?

  20. there's a blue (kinda calsonic blue colour) R32 coupe that drives around toowong all the time, had a grey bonnet
  21. for sure, should've gotten the rears from Empire Aero as well along with the fronts... but we had already ordered the rears from Viva, so that's why we're in this predicament. Contacted Empire about getting rears as well... lets see how we go.
  22. the guys at the workshop decided to fit up the Viva Garage supplied rear quarters today. I got an abusive phone call from Roshan, for supplying shit quality quarters that didn't line up with the door line or boot line. His options were "throw them away... or cut them up and make them fit"... the latter will cost a lot more time, which we don't have, so the hunt is on for better quality flared rear quarter fenders. He said he took some pics of it on the car to show how horribly out they were. Should be interesting.
  23. since when? driftline has its own spray booth and full time painter, why would they send their cars to the other side of melbourne? if there's no time to do a car, they're sent to Patti Panels on the next street.
  24. well picked sir... but a flaw in your theory... i'm not a japanese bloke missing my torso.
  25. lol at the views on the pics making viva garage's website go over their download limit.
