  1. Will provide tow truck, trade plate and valid reason to park outside Nissan HQ ("sorry tow truck broke down... problem with the tilt tray, need to unload car to check for safety") for furtherment of Beer Bizzles pimp hand smackage of Colin Buckley.
  2. Beer Bizzle, do it... park the R35 outside Nissan HQ with a "For Sale" sign... and a realistic grey import price.
  3. So I couldn't find a V35 specific one, and seeing as you guys have your own little community... might as well start one. Spotted a white 350GT coupe driving up to, chucking a U-ey outside my dad's apartment and then parking opposite North Strathfield station in Sydney NSW. Oldish looking bloke with greying/black receding hair driving
  4. looks like this isn't old colin's first foray into "Intelligence gathering" http://www.autointell.com/core/guestboo4.htm oh and funnier still: Forming and Maintaining Winning Business Relationships... check the credits Apparently he's an expert on this stuff about not alienating your customer base.
  5. you mean limited edition gunmetal "Nissan counter-intelligence" grey?
  6. can someone do the maths and see if this esitmate of 10-11 months officially confirms Nissan will not be making the 18 month cutoff date?
  7. lol I think Colin Buckley and his vast intelligence gathering frenzy is a result of the dent we've made in his retirement plan. I'm sure this forum and this thread will come to the attention of Colin at some point in time, so to him I say: Keep in mind we are Skyline loyalists. You gave up on us in 1992, we never gave up on the GT-R or Nissan. We were left high and dry by a fickle minded unadventurous pack of retards that headed Nissan's management circles to our own devices. This is why we operate from the fringes. Now that you have a new cash cow and see an opportunity to charge your customers $30,000 per car over its value in other similar markets, you are doing your level best to eliminate the competition. You don't care about the GT-R, its heritage, its fanbase or its legacy. Most "fringe dwellers" supply these cars as there is a demand for them from us enthusiasts, they don't sit around with their thumbs up their arses to release a car two years after the official launch in its country of origin. You'd think Nissan Australia would work with us GT-R enthusiasts like they do in Japan, UK and the USA.
  8. lol death to limited edition gun metal ghey GTR's.
  9. its actually using the current 4.5L V8 that they uses in the 350Z JGTC cars last season. Nismo's reasoning being that there hasn't been enough time to properly develop racing parts for the VR38DETT.
  10. that's quite a misleading statement from Nissan in that article.
  11. i use a script that I wrote on my server to do the watermarking and image processing... all JPG images automatically get the watermark put on it before being sent to the person viewing it... like so: that way if I change the watermark or decide not to watermark my iamges, I don't have to reupload all of them.
  12. caliper hitting the spoke... a 5mm spacer should sort that out.
  13. eggsactly, now that the chicken's flown the coop, maybe they'll be sure not to ruffle any feathers in the future.
  14. I still can't figure out who you are
  15. yes. try turning a go-kart... then try turning a 300zx. both low centre of gravity, but different handling characteristics due to other reasons.
  16. Dr Drift is in Brooklyn (western burb)... and on SAU.
  17. DECA = Driver Education Centre of Australia http://www.deca.com.au/FacilitiesShepparton.aspx "DECA Day" etc refers to the DECA facility in Shepparton that we use quite regularly to have motorkhana and drift training events at.
  18. owned a Z for all of 3 weeks. sold it in a heartbeat and was lucky I made a profit. It wins all the awards cos the yanks were given the Z and not a skyline. so they think its top shit. Its nissan's global car, and as such received a lot of global awards. It literally handles like a boat... if you want proof, get one out sideways and see if you can catch it and hold it out there like a skyline, silvia or any other well balanced car. Unless you're prepared to throw money at it, there are far more economically sound and stylishly similar cars available. Most of the cheap ones are shitty old 1989 and 1990 bashers.... and you'd expect to pay top dollar for a well looked after aussie spec or SEVS import. The only thing its got going for it is a progressive styling, and a low centre of gravity. That said, I have a weak spot for 2 seater 240Z's and 200ZR's. If you're serious about buying one, have a chat to blipman on the forums, he runs aus300zx, lives in melbourne and can be found at some SAU events... very knowledgeable on 300ZX's.
  19. say no to mucking around with backstreets
  20. flyin up to syd tomorrow n not back till sunday. sorry fellas, maybe week after.
  21. fixed... the avatar was too large in filesize. edited your profile for you and hotlinked it to the imageshack site. AGE just sucks at image optimisation.
  22. good to see it looking shmick finally Ali. wouldn't mind checking out those clear covers for the headlights, as I've been thinking of making my own. You should also smash out the orange glass inside the indicator (not the bubble on the side, but the one inside the indicator) with a screw driver or something... make it all clear.
  23. Has anyone else been following the drama on NAGTROC, the admins are fighting amongst themselves and creating clones of their forums etc. Its like a techie soap opera. lol kinda makes me proud of the Aussie mentality that has kept this site strong since its conception years ago ... but yeesh, the guys in the US finally have a GT-R after so many years and they're already bringing dirty politics, drama and disarray into a newborn community. Off to a flying start. Anyways, a little offtopic, but I'm guessing most of you guys who frequent this section might be members of that forum too. Just be careful not to get caught up in the middle of it, sometimes renegade admins have been known to phish for passwords etc.
  24. mine does it too. Only started doing it recently though... I think its an earthing issue. Then again, my power window switch is on the fritz too, almost like the contacts have worn off... so I can't say for sure. Unfortunately my alarm runs an actuator on the driver door too, so it locks both doors. Seems to be a problem only on R32's.
  25. oh also check this page from the R31 club site: http://wiki.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?title=Body_Kit_info
