bought mine secondhand off yahoo auctions for $80 delivered. Chucked it on my N/A RB20DE with a "race pipe" (no need to worry about ceramic turbines) and scared the ba-jeezus out of everyone when the clutch got dumped. It now resides on a CA18DET in an actual race car, so its sorta well suited. Which reminds me, there's different Rev Limiters for different engines, RB and CA are the same though. If you hook the handbrake signal cable up, then you can dial in 2 different max RPM's before cutting ignition. Really good for drag racing, sorta pointless on the track.

Bollocks. Chasers are just run of the mill family sedans. They'll drift with some suspension work. Chasers got a 1JZ from memory, wheras Aristo's got the 2JZ (incidentally Aristo's came with the 2JZ BEFORE the supra's ... so in fact the Supra is a 2 door coupe with an Aristo engine if you wanna get picky).

got quoted $120 for standard R32 plush moulded carpet in I think about 8 different colours from a place in South East melb. They make em on the spot using moulds they've got... takes em about 15 mins to make one.

if I was a P plater with oodles of money I'd buy a Chrysler 300 or a Mazda RX8. They're locally sold, so cheap on the insurance, you can get finance on them etc etc.

"Type M" is a package that ws offered by nissan on top of the base car. What its made up of and how many cars got it was totally dependant on the dealers at the time and the people buying em. I wouldn't pay much attention to it... esp since most (and according to some... all) R33 GTSt's seem to be Type M's. Although there are some dyslexic people tend think they own an R33 GTSt M Spec... instead of a Type M. The M Spec was an R34 GTR variant that was the luxury pack with leather seats standard and all that jazz.

No I meant that most non accident damaged 180sx (ie eligible for SEVS) haven't been drifted or thrashed. Depending on the compliancer and engineer involved, even something like a repaired rear fender could fail compliance. lol i should have put a comma in there to break it up.

Yeah the sales guys do get that from time to time, but we've given quotes and in some instances spoken to the bank etc where they need something solid to approve the loan. Some banks are hesitant to give loans to purchase cars that aren't in the country for some reason

32 doors are heavy mofos. I wouldn't wanna think of the wear and tear those hinges will go through. If you're buying one off a rice shop, make sure its suited to the R32 door, and not a generic one that you can fit onto VTEC yo civics and lancers. Plus they look ghey with aids. The yellow one looks borderline OK, but nothing special.
