  1. very nice mate, its a nice rare colour too rather than adding to the long list of silver ones maybe the back glass has been broken before and they put plain glass in instead of the factory dark stuff?
  2. this guy is chasing 1200bhp he said in the other thread i highly doubt $1000 extra is gonna break his budget do it once do it right is the old saying and the ecu is more important than anything else in my opinion.
  3. dont forget your limited to 2bar boost and under with the d-jetro with the map sensors they use, if u plan on serious power remember this before u spend your cash i dont know of anyone who has modified a 3 bar map sensor to work with the djetro as yet, i do know one shop who has been trying to do it for a long time and im pretty sure they havent worked it out. go a full standalone ecu like motec, autronics, etc and u will be very happy with the results and they have internal datalogging, and antilag and all the stuff u could possibly ever want. thats just my 2c
  4. hey andy whats this tweak u talk about? is it to connect the 4wd up? i found 3 wires i think are for the 4wd. these are the pin numbers and colours from the engine ecu... 5 - tacho - white/black 43 - ground - brown/white 37 - TPS - blue/black are these the correct colours? and where do u hook them too, to get it to work? thanks mate
  5. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2400656/2 thats a page i made ages ago on whats needed, have a look, it doesnt say everything but its alot of the stuff anyway. the conversion is not cheap and if u want a 26 buy the 260rs because the difference wont pay for the conversion and u end up with a rs four with the gtr engine, then u need the gtr brakes, diff, suspension, ecu, intercooler, etc that all comes stock on the 260rs. labour wouldnt be cheap either if u dont plan on doing it yourself. dont forget the 26's are all very very long in the tooth now and i wouldnt buy one without it being rebuilt or having it done once u get it as they dont last long and most are over the 150 000km mark regardless of the stupid odometer readings of 60 000km on every second import. spend the extra on the 25 and keep the rs4 or sell and buy the 260rs and do some light mods. i still wouldnt trust the 26 to last very long, and pushing 350-400awhp through a stock used one will shorten its life span alot. rebuild it to stock and it will last on that power no worries but the old engines have worn rings and bearings from the rpm and wear and tear during there life. thats just my personal opinion, hope it helps
  6. january is even better for me
  7. this has turned into the WA stagea wasteland by the sounds of it
  8. a 4wd engine is exactly the same and will work with 2wd sump from your current engine. u cant go the other way and put a 2wd engine in a 4wd because the block doesnt have the correct threaded bolt holes for the 4wd sump, where as the 4wd block has both the 4wd and 2wd threaded bolt holes so u can choose either of the 2 and it wont matter, just bolt your 2wd sump straight on.
  9. ill convert him to stageas on the next cruise if he comes for a spin
