make sure its full of tranny fluid, and also make sure its not overfull.

xmas lights cruise and bring the kids one night before xmas i say, would be good fun. im unsure how to find all the good light locations but i know theres a crazy street in connolly absolutely full of lite up houses.

interesting, i know the length is exactly the same because the gearbox and sump are both gtr so they have same distance apart. i didnt expect them to stinge in the front shaft as well, i cant see why nissan would bother looks like ill be lookin for a gtr one then in the near future as im sure the stagea one will snap alot easier than the gtr one, just like the damn rear axles did. whats the measurement differences in diameter Dale for the stagea vs gtr ones? either way the gtr one will fit a stagea and stagea one will fit a gtr, i been running the stagea one on the gtr engine and box since i did the conversion

seriously who cares if its lightly moded or not, its not like its any different to u chucking on a pod and exhuast etc within 1 month of ownership. maybe a rb25 pumping out 400hp i'd be abit hesitant but 200-250hp isnt gonna damage anything what so ever.

the gtr front driveshaft is the same as the stagea one, and they would be pretty easy to find around the place second hand i couldnt see them being anymore than $100 for a second hand one. im unsure if the unis are replacable or not. glad i could help Dale cheers Brad

pull the front driveshaft out and drive it and u can rule the driveshaft out. 4 bolts and it slides right out and u dont need to plug up the tf case hole that the shaft comes out of because its a sealed hole anyway. its about a 10 min job with a carjack, and a couple of 12mm spanners (preferably ring spanners as they will be bloody tight if they aint been off before) if u want i can lend u a front driveshaft to swap over and try as im in perth i will need it in about 2 weeks but until then its just sitting in my garage, and i know its in perfect working order.

manual fluid in the manual gearbox and auto tranny in transfer case of both manuals and auto equipped stageas (just incase u guys get confused)

no worries, ive never heard of stageas with hicas before, i learn soemthing new everyday

both manual and auto stageas use auto fluid in the TF case also the transfer case fluid is totally seperate to the gearbox fluid.

rear steering rack? do the s2 come with hicas? if not then there is no rear steering rack

just some advice about the 4wd attessa setups. the container in the boot area for the attessa is only for the pump it does not show the level of the fluid in the actual transfer case itself, to check the TF case level u need to jack car up so its level and get under and pull the filler plug out (top one of the 2), its on the very rear of the gearbox (its actually on the TF case but the tf case is on the rear of the box). use auto tranny fluid for the transfer case, Nissan have Matic D or castrol make a new synthetic one called Transmax or something like that from memory.

i know of a fair few around that arnt in on the cruise, i seen a red series 1 that works at beldon route 66, though wildcat has had some issues with him so i not gonna ask him to come along unless she doesnt care, and also one outside Golfbox and a few other shops along joondalup drive up towards Bunnings, etc, and thats a series 2 white one. ive also seen a yellow s2 around beldon area alot with a young guy driving but ive never seen him parked up so no chance to have a chat or nothing. theres a white one around mindarie area with personalized plates, though i cant remember what they say and then theres the red one with STAGEA plates owned by one of the guys on these forums though he doesnt post often. ive seen heaps of them lately its alarming
