  1. looks nice grant, gotta love your ideas with curtains and vip table hahahaha welcome to the place to be for all things stagea
  2. thanks guys, yes mine has gtr tf case now and the gtr one is better but it wouldnt have no effect on anything to do with the rims differences only when pushing the limits of the car with big power would the gtr one be benificial over the stagea one.
  3. 8:30am jesus i might have to park there saturday night and u guys can wake me up sunday morning as i dont arise from sleep until 9am on weekends lol
  4. i highly doubt the autronics can control the auto functions, neither the wolf v500, though NIB on these forums is a wolf guru and highly regarded tuner/distributor (in WA) for these units and send him a PM if u want any info on features and anything in general. autronics i got i purchased about 5 years ago so i dont know what they are worth now, it was around $3500 back then and thats with a flying loom its called where u have to make your own from your factory harness by cutting off all the plugs and hooking up what needs to be hooked up. it certainly makes the wiring alot neater with autronics loom as u lose all the aac valve plugs, and lots of others.
  5. whoops sorry im going blind alright
  6. anyone know if staggered wheels are a bad idea with the attessa or are they ok if they are within a certain percentage of each other (profile wise im talking)???? i read within 5% of eath other is fine?
  7. hey mitchy its a good job u are coming along in a skyline as u can attract all the cop attention away from my stagea i removed the rear muffler tonight and only have a single 3.5' straight through muffler on it and its farkiiinnnnn stupidly loud and will sure get the wrong attention if we happen to see mr plod along the way i need to buy another 3.5' muffler but not till the tune on tuesday so ill have to live with it as it is it sounds more like a rotary than a 6 cylinder with the cams lol oh im excited to actually bring the stagea along this time and cruise with another 10 of them so what time we meet at hillarys then???
  8. the hks t04z has a bigger comp cover (going by the looks of it) and 2 3/4 inlet where as the garrett t04z has a 2.5' inlet. ill show u guys what a hks t04z is capable of very very soon
  9. thats the problem the owner doesnt know haha, ill see what i can find out thanks mate
  10. heres the for sale ad of some rims im after.... will these be the correct offset for a stagea if they fit a 33 gts-t???? will they stick in or out the gaurds and by how much? any info appreciated Brad
  11. yes lowering is an issue, ive got mine with about 100mm of clearance from chassis to the ground and exhuast is about 60mm from the floor, i can go lower at the rear but not the front as the strut bottoms hit the control arms i have circlip grooves down to 300mm from wheel centre to gaurd but with the lowering issue i can only goto around 315mm. sydneykid will know the spring rates etc for the setup he sells.
  12. sydneykid bilstein/whiteline coilovers and they are bloody stiff and mine is sooo stiff its actually annoying for a daily driver (lucky its only a weekend thrasher), its got nooo body roll what so ever, i recommend them 110% for any sort of track work.
  13. gtr fronts fit stageas yes, gtr rears dont fit unless its a series 2 manual from the factory. gts-t rears fit but they are not designed for a wagon and wouldnt be very suitable.
  14. 1 crankshaft 6 connecting rods 6 pistons 6 piston pins 6 piston pin circlips 6 main bearings (6 sets, 12 pieces) 1 thrust bearing (2 peices) 6 rod bearings (6 sets, 12 pieces) 6 oil squirters 6 top rings 6 2nd rings 6 oil ring spacers 12 oil rings (6 upper and 6 lower) 1 front crank seal 1 rear crank seal 1 rear crank seal housing 2 oil restrictors (top of block) 14 main studs 12 rod bolts 1 oil pickup 1 oil pump 1 water pump 1 sump 1 tensioner 1 idler pulley 1 harmonic balancer 1 crank timing gear 2 sump baffle plates 12 big core plugs (unsure on exact number of plugs???) 6 small core plugs (unsure on exact number of plugs???) then u have the external bits like alternator, etc but i doubt u need to know all them i probably missed some things but thats about it from memory im not saying all these need to be replaced, ive just listed all the parts in a rb26 bottom end
  15. im now officially ready looks like we got a few people missing from the list we had... so far we got... (question marks on people who havent said they are definately coming) cruiseliner stageagirl mitchy wildcat mrgtst redskyII appealing 260tech newbie101 mcnamg ??? stageA??? MRO??? slo-n-stedy??? fcruz3r??? thats all so far...
  16. ive snapped a jun one installing it, though we had it in and out about 10-15 times atleast so that didnt help. as said above u gotta tighten it down evenly front to back or u will bend it and snap i got some longer bolts to tighten them down as i had hd springs and kept stripping the threads in the head as the stock length bolts only go in 2 turns or so before they tighten up and going into ally = weak metal. once they are down enough i replace the longer bolts with the stock ones and have had no issues since (these cams have been in and out around 30 times now), its got to be the worst and most dreaded job on the 26 i can think of. worst thing is with my jun cams i need to take them out to get to the jun head studs
  17. on the forums and i got mine from a guy in perth for $800 i think from memory (2 years ago now) seriously $2000 is stupidly expensive. i wouldnt pay over $1000 for one heres some links to ones for sale i found on a search on yahoo.com http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index....howtopic=183675 - $750 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=139317 $1200 ono http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...;hl=gtr+gearbox $1200 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=153805&hl= $1000 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=137431&hl= $500 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=147956&hl= $800 thats after a 5 min search
  18. awd tranny is cheaper and easier gtr boxes with tf case are about $800-$1000 and heaps of them around and gtst go for like $1500+ and rare as everyone wants them
  19. welcome back rob, we were just wondering where u had gone too that was all send me a price for the cargo cover and switch and ill deposit it into your account and then u can send it, i do trust you. thanks Brad
  20. nope it wont damage nothing running it without the front driveshaft im talking the single front driveshaft that goes from the tf case to the front diff, not the axles going to each wheel, they can stay as per normal 4wd operation 4 bolts and the driveshaft slides out the tf case and the hole in the tf case is even sealed so u dont have to plug it up. happy drifting
  21. i get the looks but i think its more the noise that a volvo lookin car is making haha, lets just say it doesnt go unnoticed around my area screamer pipe from the external gate and the spooling of the turbo is very very loud, not to mention the exhuast note at idle when im at petrol stations and people all having a look as it sounds more like a lumpy v8 than a 6
  22. rb25 rwd box has different tailshaft as the rwd is a yoke that slides in the back of the box and the 4wd has a plate that bolts onto the back of the transfer case, just rip the front driveshaft off the 4wd box and its rwd (still leave all 4wd sump, front axles, etc ) im unsure if the gtst tailshaft will be the correct length, but u will need it for the gtst 5 speed box if u go that option, and maybe have shaft lengthened or whatever it needs to fit.
  23. mate that looks hot i love it if i was lookin for a stagea now that would be it.
  24. if a n/a s1 stagea can be complied with a turbo motor i cant see why a manual would matter...
