through the door seal? how about pull the drivers side front undergaurd cover off and theres a big grommet in there to go through feed the line through behind the brake booster etc and through the hole into the gauge. dale the gauge can be put anywhere using a suitable sized vacuum line that comes off the plenum as long as the hose u choose doesnt have a one way valve in it (brake booster etc) and u will know as the gauge will only ever goto zero and not show + boost hope it helps

in and ready, well cars got no diff at moment and few things being sorted but its good to go besides that, couldnt get a full tune booked until 13th of feb so its not at its best but it will do

to adjust the tensioner u need the bottom timing cover off which means u need the fan off and radiator out and harmonic balancer off as well, so pretty much the whole lot (and top timing cover but u say its already off). its not hard to do a timing belt and i cant see how people make it out to be a difficult job. i can get the car from running to belt off and new one on and runnning again in about an hour and a half or less. ive done mine about 20 times though when we been doin the valve shim clearances for the big cams i got. oh and no the belt doesnt actually need to be removed only the tensioner loosened abit with belt in place. just make sure the 3 dots line up and u will have no problems for anyone attempting the belt change themselves

gates timing belt is only noisy if u have it too tight and it will make a whirring noise. mine is super silent now i have it tensioned correctly, where as the last one was pretty loud as i overtightened it.

awesome idea steve i'd most likely have some stuff to sell from all my projects over the years so let us know if it goes ahead. maybe organise it like a cruise and say meet at hillarys marina or something and everyone get there parts out and then it would be free hahaha

i got a 140mm thick one and it fits in place of the stock gtr unit, though i needed to major chop chop the front bar (stagea), and yes 75mm is plenty unless u are going over 450rwhp or so.

i got a hks to4z on a 26 making 360kw on only 15psi and revving to 6000rpm (fuel issues above that), booked in for new tune now as i found the fuel problem. 10 000rpm limit should see around 380-390kw on same boost then ill wind it up to 22psi or so and it should be interesting. thats only the 0.81 housing too

yer it will because the clutches for the front drive are only slightly on, but not enough to turn the front wheels, though its like slipping a clutch and it wont last long slipping it pull the front shaft if u want 2wd simple as that, 10 min job with 2 spanners and a jack

im still waiting on this rear cargo cover i was offered a good 4-5 weeks ago, luckily i didnt send any money because he didnt send me bank details. would be good to get some parts off him if he happens to want to sell them???

thanks guys and girls its lookin alot nicer than when i got it, i just need to put some better rims on it and it will be how i want it maybe front bar upgrade as i said earlier is on the list and some rear brembo brakes to match the fronts. going up curbs with the skirts are interesting and only clear by about 20mm when on a 45 degree angle to the curb, i think speedhumps are out of the question, luckily its not a daily driver. thanks again

got a quick couple of snaps of my painted sideskirts when i test fitted one of them. now i need a front bar to match the height of the skirts as it looks funny now rear bar is fine but the front one is sooo high off the ground and the skirt is about 90mm from the floor i dont know if fitting the skirts is a good or bad thing as its looking more like a hoons car everyday with brakes, bodykit, lowering, exhuast and i bought it for the purpose of not having to worry about cop attention.

yes mine are bent outwards a fair bit (s1 with sk swaybar) also but as u said that seems the same as everyone elses and shouldnt cause any problems what so ever

good call Leshy we had ours before everyone else and keep ours longer as well, maybe there are only a small group of real stagea fans and not people with quick ideas to buy one and then they want a skyline and then a supra and so on and on.

if i had a series 2 i'd be putting a series 1 front on it series 1 front look so much more aggressive and the series 2 lights look funny. series 1 ftw just MY opinion

hey gary they are actually different as i have had both a gtr manual tf case and a stagea auto tf case on the bench disassembled totally side by side. its nuthin to do with its operation, only the auto one is alot less heavy duty in its parts and most noticable is the gtr one has 6 lugs pressing onto the clutch packs and they stagea one only has 4 lugs instead so alot less surface area to press the clutch packs together. thats my useless 2c worth

what time do u want us northeners to meet up at hillaries then kirstie? any chance of a few non stageas in the group (skyline and a soarer possibly)? to who ever said the rpm limit question, yes i plan on going over 5500rpm as the turbo doesnt do much before 4500rpm anyway and i want to rev it to the 9000rpm it should me and Lee (stage-A) had some fun last cruise on the way home when i was in my GTO. Ill drive nicely on the cruise if thats of concern

still on or what u bunch of quiet WA stagea owners ? mines running alright now and should be properly tuned by then, if not ill have to survive with the annoying 5500rpm limiter because of fuel issues. so 11th feb at hillarys for the northeners, and what time exactly as i got to tell the guy i know with a stagea that doesnt come on the forums at all. cheers Brad
