haha yer it sounds pretty mean when it runs, recently made 417rwhp on 13psi so its abit modified thats a video on the dyno last week, we turned lights out to show flames and exhuast manifold.

nissan told me yesterday they are still available and not being discontinued as far as he knows. i got the last one in oz from nissan so they are coming from japan if u need one. heres the new addition to the family... definately alot more meat between the bores when both using same bore sizes and water galleries to bore and head studs have alot more meat as well. they also come installed with the oil restrictors, im not sure if they are the correct size or not though i havent measured them yet. just waiting on the ATI balancer to arrive and its into the machine shop
-
my t04z made 417rwhp on 13psi with a 3" dump pipe and 2.5' rear muffler, stock gtr cooler. so power dropping off after 7k rpm. this is a 2.7L though and full boost at 5000rpm once it makes peak power up at 9k rpm it should be abit more with 4" dump pipe.

damn thats mad i want one, does anyone know where i could get one? prefer the mines version rather than the plain autech if possible. good find mike

well done mate its lasted alot longer than the knockers on here had imagined. bout time someone showed em they are keyboard mechanics and dont actually know from there own experience, just from "i heard ..." and "i reckon ..." comments said on forums. good luck with the new setup -
mine would be drowned and lagging way behind considering it has only done 1300km in 18 months or so

anyone got theres yet? mine will be the last to arrive being at the other end of the earth mine will look great on my orniment of a stagea -
if u want a ff plenum buy a greddy one for $900 and save adapting something that aint made for your engine, plus the fact the heads gotta come off to weld up the holes he mentions, and facing the head because it would get warped abit from welding it. twin turbos is not even worth bothering about when 1 single can make the same power and more and half the pipework, twice the room to work with and u dont need 2 dump pipes and all the water lines and associated stuff. it seriously is a not worthwhile idea when u could have a highmount gt30 for around the same cost and 1/10 of the stuffing around. PM sydneykid and i bet he says exacty the same thing. i know twin turbos sounds good to tell people, but i think id rather say i got twice the power for the same money. gtr turbos are rubbish ceramic wheels anyway so u would need n1's or 2530s to go anywhere, and try 2k for a gt30, and $600 for a gate and $200 for water/oil lines compared to the exhuast manifold fitting work, n1 or 2530s are an easy $3500 minimum and then water lines to fit, twin dump pipes, inlet piping. each to there own i just dont like people wasting money for the sake of saying its twin turbo. would u rather have 250rwkw max with stock gtr turbos or 300rwkw+ with a gt30 and it all bolts on?

i was in auto one and mindarie auto parts just buying some bits, i was in the stealth commodore so u wouldnt have recognised me anyways so what rims u got then? bling bling or racing style or what?

Found An Oil Pot In The Boot Area...
CruiseLiner replied to IMPORTD's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
hey kylie thats normal, u gotta check the fluid level with the car ignition turned on and it will drop to the correct level. its just drained back up abit when ignition is off. cheers Brad -
hey wildcat u live north so u can organise it too u know. if u wait for my car to run for longer than 10 min without more problems then i doubt we will ever have a stagea cruise hehe. i dont mind coming in the commodore for the meet up but no cruising as its a piece of shit spent all my money on the stagea and the car i never touch runs like a dream. if u wanna wait mine will be 2 months at the most i reckon so its upto u guys and girls. we might have 20 stageas in perth by then hehe, the list is growing longer everyday. cheers Brad
-
i got [TT 26 WA] plates for sale u just need a rb26 and it would be suitable
-
perth will be the most stagea populated state in oz soon if we dont watch it keep your stageas lowkey people we cant have them like skylines are today, 20 billion of em on every second street.
-
no worries gav i am just over all the workshop battles and so forth in perth its annoying as no one agrees on who is good and bad, etc its a losing battle i just keep my mouth shut now
-
1/2 way to a rb26 engine, plus sell your rb25 for 3k and you could have a 26 almost. just gotta spend another million to make the 26 run in the stagea if people make 400rwhp+ with stock plenum then why waste 2k on it when u could buy other gear that will make it 10 times faster.
-
do u even know where it was tuned at ? im using the autronics by the way so u can guess who it wasnt i got the djetro sitting aside and if i use that ill use who u are talking about but i am keeping autronics at the moment and ive found a good tuner so i dont need to sell it. why bring workshops into it anyway?
-
none of that is gonna bolt on and for the hassle id just get a rb26 as its gonna cost ya abit in fabricating all those adaptors. stock plenum is good for bulk power anyway and just do the 180 degree bend pipework instead and 2 gtr turbos r a waste of time, just put on a big single instead saving all the messing with adaptors. i wouldnt be tuning it with an safc with twin turbos if it was me. spend the money on more useful mods like manifold/single turbo, intercooler, injectors, etc. thats my 2c worth
-
nice ride stageagirl, ive seen that one before i think as i remember thinking that would have to be the hardest 2 colours to clean on earth, black paint and white rims very nice for sure heres one of mine before its been sent back into hybernation again just gave it a wash before this photo cheers Brad

top guess gav, the usual spot $1000 of machining down the drain boat anchor anyone ?

Has Anybody Used One Of These Before?
CruiseLiner replied to oxford1327's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
honestly how hard is the sump plug to remove? the same plug on mine has been used about 20 times and never leaked a drop. they will either start leaking after a while or accidently get unlocked and dump all your oil, or get ripped off from a rock or something on the road. sounds like a risk to me, and u dont get burnt by the oil if u pull it off, its easy to unscrew it and move ya hand away as its coming out without getting a single drop on yaself. id rather put that $50 in my fuel tank
