  1. ok the sump on stagea rs fours, and gtr's and 260rs's are all the same identical part. oil filter is normal gtr size and same for a rb25 if i remember correctly (z145a is part no. on rb26, whats the rb25???) so they are both same parts as gtr's and rs4's so no additional costs are needed over these other models. hope it helps Brad
  2. no more piccies i dont think as night cruises suck for decent photos. stagea meet in a few weeks i reckon in the daytime for some group photos at a nice location, and then some 2wd burnout videos if ya lucky (4wd aint workin yet as wiring was done dodgy by a well known local workshop and its wrecking autronics tps signal for some reason)
  3. ok heres a couple of links to a few. mines not very good with a 4k rpm limiter but it still shows u abit of cruisn, and mates gt30 7m mz20 soarer is pretty crazy with ext gate. we dragged a series 8 rx7 in it today and cained it pretty damn easy so i'd say its got around 350rwhp and could run a high 12 at the moment. its only a home tune job with a safc and me and my mate tuning on road but its no where near how it should be and only running 14psi. check em out nuthin is illegal on the videos so no need to worry ska mz20 take off from 80kmh pretty boring i know but wait for some ext gate action from mine in the very near future im dieing for my tune to be done after going on the cruise and fanging around with mates with big power mine actually sounded the most stock of the lot ahhah
  4. hey lee, u got smoked by a chick?? u poor boy haha jk, was a good meet, and the stageas definately added some good variety to the long list of skylines. was about 100 cars all up i read on the WA thread nice to meet you guys and gals too, we gotta get some good day shots and a nice day cruise when the weather is sunny and i need more power to keep up haha heres another shot, the rest are way too dark to see, and my mate ended up locking his keys in his soarer and he had to smash the rear window to get in, which he wasnt happy with them being sooo rare. i gotta grab a couple of videos of mine that we took in the tunnel and my mates soarer with his external gate and 3rd gear spin at 100kmh was pretty awesome sounds like a jet.

  7. wasnt bad, had me, stage-a, wildcat and mr gts-t all show up but rain made it abit of a shitty night in the end, i bailed early for some fun on private roads with a couple of lunatics in external gated early model soarers, awesome fun, except i got highly embarrassed as mine is gutless even got a bit of sideways action with my 4000rpm limiter cause it was wet haha 130hp yerrr baby not fun for me but others had a ball. got some photos of me and my mates saorer at a petrol station under the lights, ill post em soon if they look decent if i see one more r33 gtst ill puke hahaha, gets abit boring with 3 billion of them and another 2 million r32 gun metal grey gtr's. we need to start a rare model car club, for stageas, early model saorers, chasers, aristos, etc etc for abit of variety, one car make just gets too much. finally chucked the centre coilcover on which looks 100 times neater ill put a few up tommorow when i can be bothered
  8. i got my rears made up by a local shop called HOSEMART for about $100 i think and they are ADR approved (unlike jap brands and the like) which makes them 100% legal for street use. i went to get my fronts done there but they couldnt use the same mounting blocks that the factory lines use for some reason and i didnt like that idea as i'd have no mounting points and i suspect that would be illegal if i had to ziptie them to the strut im going to try enzed and get a guy to come out to my house to fit up a set for the front brembos in the next week or so i hope depending if i can get some time off work. i reckon the brembos braking distance will give me a shock compared to the stock calipers/rotors
  9. of course they are the brembos are r33 gtr items on 260rs's, and the r34 ones are identical but painted gold instead. so brake pads would be exactly the same
  10. hey darrin im waiting for the tutorial on putting a r34 gtr front on the mighty stagea whats the cost worked out all up for you? and do u still plan on making a mould of the masa gaurds or are you not bothering? im planning the 34 front one day thats for sure and a respray in black maybe, inspired by the SWAT car club stageas i seen on those SWAT websites, they are absolutely awesome ill do abit of info about putting brembos on a stagea in the very very near future as i got mine all ready to go i just need some custom braided brake lines made up who was chucked their stageas on a wieght bridge????? mine weighed in at 1690kg without a driver and half a tank of full, and a few bits and peices in the car, so around 1650 with low fuel and clean interior i reckon. thats with the 26 and single turbo setup as it is at the moment. ill post a dyno video maybe as tune is booked for late next week and i just wont show the power figures for the other knobs that i dont want to see it. ill be doing heaps more bits and peices soon when the engine side of things is done, so ill post info on stuff as i do it. joy times ahead

  12. hey guys its abit of a WA topic sorry, but i was wondering if any of the other stagea owners are going to checkout the WA SAU cruise at City West? theres a meet for the north people at woodvale shops at around 8:15pm from memory (check the WA section for correct upto date info) then we are heading to city west from there to meet the rest, should be a decent turnout by the looks of it get your stageas down there im not cruising after the citywest meetup but ill be there until they leave so come say Hi if ya there. so we got Stage-A, Wildcat, Mr Gtst, Red sky II, mcnamg, and a couple of others from WA with stageas, so who is coming for a looksie? cyaz there (its TONIGHT btw) Brad

  14. thanks lee, and its solved now because i just wont bother posting info about my engine, etc on SAU, ive had plenty of PM's from others who have the same opinion about when they post results they just get giving shit for not doing something right or not enough power or what not. i think its a more mature group of stagea owners and we understand what everyone else is doing rather than thinking about ourselves and thats it. long live the friendly stagea community
  15. so whats the process of using one of these? how do u set the timing etc exactly? its not for my car but a mates running a SAFC and he is thinking of adjusting timing using one of these but we are unsure on the way to set the timing up using one anyone mind explaining it? thanks

  17. cheers cyrus i knew someone would know alright this is it, i dont know how to only show a small section of the page so i have to put the entire page up. its abit small but u can see on the ecu it says ECCS A/T C/U
  18. my stagea does the same, beeps in reverse (was an auto dunno if that makes a difference), beeps when lights are on and when u leave keys in ignition but have doors open. the beeping is from a little black box just above the fusebox next to your right knee, only trouble is it controls all central locking etc as well, but one wire must be the beeping one (or maybe 3 seperate wires) so its possible to rip it out. good luck
  19. they are not bolted together i have the service manual showing a pic and it says they are the same unit and i have ripped mine out ages ago and i searched the entire car for the auto one and there aint one. all the wiring digrams of the engine ecu show auto wires coming in and out too. also when i chopped my engine harness there is about 10-12 wires that goto auto stuff. the workshop i used to goto even told me the attessa/abs ecu was infact the auto one but they didnt know shit and then my 4wd stopped workin so i put it back in. if i new how to get a photo of a page in abode reader as a jpg format i'd post it but i dont have a clue
  20. i think the slave and master do need to be matched, my master is 5/8 and slave is 3/4 but thats the booster version master so maybe the non booster one is a different size. otherwise the pedal will be rock hard or u wont get enough travel to disengage the clutch
  21. buster started shit stirring not me, and i hadnt even posted a reply in that thread for 3 months and he comes on and says i aint done shit. now reading about his build it took him 12 months and thats a shop doing it so why am givin shit for taken ages? i do it after work and on weekends only and ive had to order parts and shit that have taken 4 weeks to arrive and on several occasions too. so for a shop to take 12 months and then buster to say he is out there doing that while im f**king around. what took him soo long huh? a workshop would do it fulltime not an hour each night and on sundays when i actually have a day off. if buster didnt say that comment i wouldnt have even started argueing. threads closed now thanks to the mods i asked thats all ill say on the topic, and who cares if he ran 8.0 what right does he have to say im taking too long when he took exactly the same time??????? all because he started the build before me??? when u do it yourself u might understand one day
  22. awesome results and as said above eddy tasone was previously a big figure in drag racing in WA and he was running 9s on a N/A 383 stroker years ago (low 9's i think from memory) in his slr torana. then the vh ran 8.1 or so and this thing is obviously abit of a dyno car rather than an out and out drag car. why does everyone have to hang shit on any figures that come up with lame comments like "its only making .... hp, etc etc. where is all these keyboard warriors dyno graphs? if u aint got something remotely close to that then how can u say it only made X amount of power? all i can say is good work active automotive

  24. the moral is "if u drive a skyline be prepared to be hassled", now thats why i bought the stagea to be honest because they dont have a reputation as a sports car or hoon rocket so hopefully the owners of stageas keep a good reputation for us all and i just hope the cops dont ever get word that they are related to the skyline family
