  1. What about the battery? Lead acid batts are fairly heavy... Perhaps a sealed odyssey style gel battery may save some kgs...
  2. Is the SAFC in use? Has it been reset / initalised too? It allows you to change your AFR's in a roundabout sort of way so it may be set too lean?
  3. But that may be cause it is only small right? Most 600+ CCA batteries are huge! What are the dimensions?
  4. What did you pay if I can ask? Is the reserve rating the same as residual charge (RC)? If so, it seems a little low for a 610 CCA...
  5. Stop living in the past... Don't let your negative interfere with your positive... Seriously though... if it was only for 1000k's, you should be fine...
  6. Just out of interest, craz0 in central QLD had problems with a powerFC not outputing the TPS signal to the auto transmission ECU... Might be a similar type of thing???
  7. Sorry to kidnap your thread craz0 but this will only take a sec... Steve-SST: Does the wolf plugin use the AFM for tuning? If it won't idle without the MAP plumbed in, I'm assuming it doesn't?
  8. Whats in box number 2!
  9. NO.. Check your other post...
  10. All tie rod ends are adjustable... The ones you have now are adjustable. The ones on my corolla are adjustable. The ones on that car over there are adjustable. They are used to adjust your toe in/out as well as connect your tie rods (steering arms) to the hubs... I reckon your talking about your castor rod bushes (also known as radius rod bushes). They are non adjustable normally. They commonly wear out on skylines. They leak silicone goo when stuffed. New castor rod bushes will need to be pressed in/out. Adjustable ones will allow you to adjust your castor (suprisingly...) IMHO. Please correct me if I'm wrong...
  11. BUMP! I wanna know too...
  12. Hahahaha! I do that too! Guess I'm gunna have to stop now... Seriously though, I would question their authority to photograph you with a speed camera when you weren't speeding... I doubt the photo could be used against you if it was obtained illegally... Also, aren't speed cameras manned by rent-a-cops? Or is that only in southern states? If they are going to charge you with "Giving an Obscene Gesture to a Police Officer", then it would have to be a police officer you gestured to... Just my thoughts... I aint a lawyer though... Show me the pic!
  13. lmao... thats some list you got there. Why don't you post up a few pics of your ride?? Any performance figures?
  14. What model f-con is it?
  15. My Missus is keen for a female one P1E! What about kids sizes??
  16. Machining your disks (F&R) will help for a little while but will not cure the problem... Better quality pads will help but if they are only new pads you probably don't want to throw them away. PBR make an anti squeel goo which worked wonders for me... Also make sure all the shims are installed on the pads. Other suggestions include lightly sanding the pads to unglaze them and cutting a vertical line through the pad to reduce dust buildup. The best solution would be a set of slotted rotors (DBA) with good quality pads (Not Bendix). I think the Sumitomo braking system on 33's is notoriously noisy...
  17. Eddie: Rather than start an argument in here (car audio), make a new post under the "forced induction performance" forum. You'll get more constructive answers that way... Also use the search facility and read some of the sticky posts before asking your question.
  18. 5 Stud! Based on the angle between where the nut countersinkings meet the edge of the rim and the fact that it is a 7 spoke...
  19. You'll be cursing it's very existence the second you try to do any wiring in there... It's tight! I unbolted mine from the dash and gently manoeuvred it so the rear of the fuse panel is accessible if you hang upside down with your right leg under the seat an your left leg between the handbrake and gear shift whilst stuffing your head in-between the accelerator and brake pedals whilst holding a burning soldering iron, solder, a torch, the wire your joining and the wire your attaching to with two hands and your mouth...
  20. Under the steering wheel in the key loom and fuse box would be the best place to find ignition and start... Most immobilisers have long wires for the immobilisation circuit so you can route the wires away from the alarm itself... This makes it harder for a thief to find the broken circuit...
  21. Yeah I thought that might be the case NismoGirl... Thats why I want to see the sheet. I'll be getting the water pump done. Doesn't need to be the N1 type tho... GTR timing belt? What are the advantages? I do most of my own servicing so spark plugs, oil, filters won't need to be changed... Probably get the brakes and coolant flushed tho... Maybe an auto flush and diff oil change? Hopefully that keeps the price down a little... I'll have to give him a call soon...
  22. Nah you were being quite sensible actually... Bit of a right hand lane hog tho j/k Yep just started spitting and lightning here... Looks like a biggun... Fiday night drags at the indy always get rained out...
  23. I got mine yesterday! Picked it up from Jayson who was more than helpful.. Perfect fit on the front of my R33 Sedan... Great finish on the bar... Nicely made. Easy to fit too! Seems to have made a bit of a difference to the "feel" of the car in the front... Definetely turns in better now and seems to have more corner grip... I can post pics if ppl want...
  24. $795 for the 100K service eh? I'm doing mine soon. Was going to go to Gavin Woods (first time). Thought it was around $500 tho? It would be interesting if you could post up the sheet Knore.
