Unwritten Law: The "cold air intake pipe" is a siren... NismoGirl: I've been pulled up by "a" red Magna... Nexus9: Good stuff buddy... Keep it up.

You can put mags on the standard studs no problems at all. New set of studs is a good idea. Bolts might be chrome, might not... You can get locking nuts too...

Bump! I wanna know more too!

Nexus 9: Perhaps a date last spotted and a location last spotted would be handy... I can confirm a Red Magna with stickers at BP Yatala about 6 months ago. Unsure of rego sorry I have also seen a silver VY in Brisbane (Roma Street) with 15" 5 spoke mags, roof racks, a couple of stickers, and lights as shown in the pic below. About 9 months ago. A few things to look out for are venitian blinds inside the rear window... They hide the police lights quite well. Police steelies. Siren horn down low in the front bumper. Probably common knowledge but these are a few of the things I keep my eyes open for...

Legnum sounds like something I coughed off my chest... But who I am I to complain when Nissan have Gazelle's, Cedric's, Glorias, the list goes on... Stagea sounds tuff. Skyline sounds just right

1. Band Expander... There are different ranges available for the different frequencies used throughout the world... Mine is shit. Only lets me pick up about 5 extra stations but it was a cheapie.... Get a good one and you will be happier. You can also get them custom designed for the radio stations you want to listen to as all band expanders will have dead spots by design... But thats expensive. 2. What the guys above said. If Fhrx don't know then no one does Have you tried altavistas babelfish to translate the results you get in google? It can sometimes help to shed some light. Maybe try and find out if there was an english equivalent made and track down the instructions for that... The buttons should perform the same functions I reckon. 3. Get a MD recorder.. My Head Unit came from Japan with MD cababilities so I purchased a MD recorder off these forums and I love MD to bits... Very convenient, light and portable and great for MP3's, compilations, etc. It also has major wow factor. Most people have no idea what it is in Australia (or all the people who have noticed mine are dumb sh1ts ) I think there is one for sale in the "For Sale Other" forum at the moment... 4. Welcome! Your gunna love your new car and this place will be like a second home for you. 5. Where in Queensland?

How crap is your local Autobarn?
strutto replied to cobo_11's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Yep, thats what I said.. He double checked the price and wouldn't budge on it. The guy reckoned he owned a skyline too! I'm not stupid. I knew it was wrong. So I went elsewhere... I won't go back either due to the negative selling pressure I got at this particular Repco... EG: I want 6 x BCPR6ES. What are they for? My GTS25t. Oh, your crazy. You need these super dooper pentagonal unobtanium spark plugs with increased firing power and reduced weight @ 28 ea.. No I don't. I just need to change them more regularly... Bye Bye... -
How crap is your local Autobarn?
strutto replied to cobo_11's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Well I reckon they can all be useless and they can all be useful... Prime example is the spark plugs mentioned above. Repco will gladly order them in if they don't have them and also keep a much larger range than Supercheap... Repco are usually happy to haggle with the price too. But, Repco quoted me $46 for a Z200 fuel filter so I went next door to Supercheap and got one off the shelf for $9.99. Autobarn have heaps of cool stuff but are hideously overpriced, especially given the excellent services of places like Greenline and K's Online Garage... -
And shouldn't this be moved out of for sale?

They go on the outside of the windows. Peel the thicker bit of paper off being careful to leave the sticker attached to the thinner bit of paper. Press the sticker down onto your window or panel in the correct location and smooth it out with a squeegee or cloth and then carefully remove the thin bit of paper leaving your sticker attached to your car Hardest part is aligning the two piece red and white sticker. The red circle fits in with the k in skyline and the a in australia... HTH

Auto Transmission Diagnostics 1. Have the car at normal temperature in Park with the overdrive on. 2. Start the engine. The power light will go out after 2 seconds. 3. Turn the ignition off. 4. Move the selector to Drive (you may have to use the push button release). 5. Overdrive off. 6. Wait 2 seconds, and turn the ignition on. 7. Wait 2 seconds and move the selector to 2. 8. Overdrive on. 9. Move the selector to 1. 10. Overdrive off. 11. Press the accelerator fully and release. 12. Read the auto transmission diagnostics codes. All codes are flashed with the Power Light on the auto mode selection button on the R33's. The sequence starts with one long flash. If everything is OK, this will be followed by ten short flashes. Errors are indicated by a long flash in the sequence of short flashes. 1st flash longer: Revolution sensor shorted or disconnected 2nd flash longer: Speed sensor shorted or disconnected 3rd flash longer: Throttle sensor shorted or disconnected 4th flash longer: Shift solenoid A shorted or disconnected 5th flash longer: Shift solenoid B shorted or disconnected 6th flash longer: Overrun clutch solenoid shorted or disconnected 7th flash longer: Lockup solenoid shorted or disconnected 8th flash longer: Fluid temperature sensor is disconnected or the control unit power source is damaged 9th flash longer: Engine revolution sensor shorted or disconnected 10th flash longer: Line pressure solenoid shorted or disconnected All flashes the same with no long start flash: Battery voltage low, has been recently disconnected or control unit has just been reconnected.

Bwahahahaha! Funny. I'm a BP only man too. I got my front discs machined at Global down here on the coast. Removed them myself, drove there in my shitter, had lunch, went back, all done, $30. Still want DBA rotors tho... Slowing down in a Skyline is a figment of your imagination... And aint that the truth...

I have had a fair bit to do with an RB25DET with the 120 degree setup. Made 251rwkw with stock injectors and internals. Happens to be a green Silvia in the latest issue of Zoom (No. 69...) Seemed to work fairly well. The 120 degree bend did get condensation on cold nights with high boost so I assume there is a noticable pressure drop around this area. IMHO...
