The reason Kels Battery is on the right is, with the cooler piping it would not fit on the left side of the engine bay, and as we have 2 kids (1 is 4 months old) we need all the boot space we can get.

In answet to the whole thread....an rb26 will bolt straight in to an R31 with the only changes being the sump and you need to fit the engine mounts off an RB from an R31. I also had to slightly massage a section of firewall behind the rear turbo to give slightly more dump pipe clearance also.

well.....not really...... Rb26det would assume 1 turbo and rb26dett would be 2 turbos. hehe.

Yea....it is running a pair of modified standard turbos.

The law says something about the car must not be operational with the keys removed from the ignition. But.....I believe, a car is NOT operational with the keys removed even if the engine is running, as the steering would be locked? there for undriveable.....and some cars rely on the keys being in the ignition for them to be taken out of park.....

Nothing wrong with an R31....RWD....RB engine.....Cheap insurance as it is not an import....

I believe the Langley is based on an N13 pulsar? So it would be a completely different chassis.

Well....Not much has happened....I have a 26 powered R31 and have been thinking of doing the AWD for some time now. Realisitcally I am doing as much background working out as I can before I do anything.

Hmmmmm......... Interesting....as the S13 front suspension fits into an R31......And I have been toying with the thought of an AWD r31 using the A31 AWD gear....that was assuming the AWD front end was like the S13 front end may have made my job easier.

Sorry for diggin up and old post, and sorry if it seems a silly question... But......do the A31 Ceffys, in RWD guise, use the same strut front end (or simmilar to) an S13? And the AWD use the same as an R32? Or do all Ceffys use the same R32 wishbone style suspension?

heyyas.... I have been discussing plans with a friend of mine to build an R32. Due to insurance reasons, she cant have a GTR, but a modified GTS-t is ok. My plan was to get an R32 GTS4 (the GTS-t, rb20 awd...I think they are a GTS-4?), and fit an Rb26 along with the GTR front sump and diff, r32 GTR gearbox, GTR rear diff and all GTR brakes. She already has a wide body kit lined up for a GTS-t, so it will look the goods, and anything else to make it look GTR ish is easy. The insurance have said it is ok as it will be insured as a Modified GTS4, not as a GTR....Go figure! So my question is, are there anyother traps I need to be aware of? are the cross members different? I am choosing a GTS4 as the attessa gear will already be there, making it easier. Any thoughts? Thankyou.

I guess the easiest way to see if the wolf is what you want is to go to the website www.aems.com.au, download the v4 manuals and have a look at what it offers.

Wideband AFR means on the hand controller screen you get real time air/fuel ratio read out.....but you do need a specific wide band oxy sensor. Idle is fine....the plug in wolf should use the original IAC to do the idle control.

My wifes car runs a version 4 plus plug in wolf and it is great. it is very tuneable, it has maps for both ignition and fuel at every 125 rpm and 8 or 9 load maps. Can run extra injectors as it has it's own microfueller, as a really easy to use laptop program for tuning and setting up, and all the manuals and so on are downloadable in PDF form of the website. And my wifes car was an auto and it ran fine with the wolf, as a plug in they work ok with the auto, but a wire in needs some work to make the auto computer talk to the wolf.

Well....it is back up there......starting bid at 6,900 buy it now at 6,900, and the title is GT......description is GL and he insists it has leather...and wont send me a pic of the interior.....hmmmmm
