  1. Phillips bluevision globes are ok. R32 headlights arent the best though. Also, just be careful because r32 headlights are suprisngly varied requiring different globes despite the headlight looking the same as another 32 etc.
  2. When you say collectable what do you mean? A skyline will not go up in value. At best it will hold its value for a bit, but in the current economy I doubt it.
  3. How about you post them in the for sale section where they belong
  4. I would. The car is the definition of fkn ugly, and its interior is so unimaginative it is beyond belief.... the only car uglier is the Ssangyong stavic. I cant understand how anyone could buy it and anyone who does I cant listen to them try justify their purchase let alone talk about any other car.
  5. Yeah, but you bought a current model Subaru WRX sedan. As a direct result of this, your opinions on any matters relating to cars is irrelevant.
  6. ^ Nice man!! Very clean. It looks like calsonic blue but a bit darker?
  7. You heard of ?? I found this link in 0.32secs http://www.bmwforum.com.au/
  8. Hahahaha, that is GOLD! Our family had a bluebird for ages... Never, Ever thought of it as having sex appeal, lol. f*ken Funny ad!
  9. The face plate for the climate control is different on the GTR to the gts-t/gts4's, but the climate control unit itself should not be any different. Also I hope you are not putting a GTR badge on your gts4 also!
  10. Whatever you do, do NOT push that button!!!
  11. 5 different people i know who have different brands of boost gauges (and my own car) have all had readings that have not been the same as when they were dynoed. I would like to think a dyno would be the more accurate of the two and in each case it was anywhere from 1-4psi different to the gauge in the cars.
  12. I would rather buy the car with stock turbo's though. Generally if they have been changed they are upgraded and quite possibly not with all the proper supporting mods and as a result mean the car is under more strain. Furthermore if someone has bought upgraded turbo's they are more likely to fang the car. I just would not buy a GTR with any more mods than those I listed above. But that is just me, depends on what you want the car for and your future plans etc.
  13. - Synchro's aren't the best in the factory g/box. - A track abused example will be a money pit. - A near stock r26dett is quite reliable if its a good example, but they are not easy to find. - The turbo's will die pretty fast if boosted too much (particularly the back turbo). - On the track the rb26 suffers from oil starvation which can lead to a blown engine so if you are planning on tracking it do some research because without modification your day could end quite quickly. Basically if it were me i would be looking for one that is close to stock, i.e only the basic mods; suspension, exhaust, pods and in mint condition.... Finding this will require a lot of patience.
  14. If you read his post a bit more closely you would have noticed the following: R33 GTR that may see some track time is NOT going to be cheap. +1 I would deffinately say the R34 is worth the extra cash if you can afford it.
  15. "convert bar to psi". Boost gauges are generally pretty inaccurate anyway and you rarely look at it. I would not pay much extra for psi personally.
  16. female driver or not, with those mods ppl know what the car has been treated like.. In the current market and with 'fairly good' condition... $10k or so
  17. Ppl in Japan obviously disagree with you. Completely original really genuine low k's GTR's were selling for that kind of money. I am not saying I would pay it but obviously to some that is what they are worth. But for some people a car is more than just a machine that performs a function.
  18. More than one as I said. To be honest this whole argument is such a f**ken yawn i hope everyone who wants one gets a 32gtr for $10k and anyone who wants a 34gtr gets it for $30k and they are all perfect vehicles I know I will never sell mine cause I am the only one who appreciates it and $10k ain't shit.
  19. Yes! 350z's are for sale starting from high 20's now. So a cleaner one would be say low 30's and then sell the rims it come with and add some nice ones. Done. A 350z is more sporty and more of a younger persons car than a G35 if you ask me. If he was 30y/o+ then maybe a G35. Need to check if these cars are legal in your state though, because the 350z even though its an N/A is putting out some pretty decent power, which in Victoria is an issue as power/weight restrictions apply.
  20. Well dont come on here saying how you are an awesome driver twice in one post... But you are most likely one of those types of people that constantly needs to reassure yourself. Aside from this, to answer your question: "How long is a piece of string". A rebuilt engine's life is impossible to determine. What one person calls thrashing is what someone else would think is complete abuse of the car. I have heard of rebuilds blowing a week after being completed. So if you do get one and thrash it very hard it will not take it forever.
  21. With a driver as awesome as you behind the wheel it would no doubt last forever and be the fastsest car ever!
