Hey man, im a bit confused, where u changed globes behind button in your climate control unit, it looks like the buttons "OFF" "ECON" and "AC" are still green unchanged? where u not able to replace those globes? cause if not i dont think i will bother doing it myself unless they will all match. Also, not sure if you would know, but my actual climate control screen (the one showing fan seed, temp etc) sometimes fades really dim then comes birght again, and sometimes gets so dark its barely legible, this is while driving :S. What would cause this, can it be fixed?

Any chance of posting this up? or a link to where to get it either of the 91/92 races??

Haha, love the internet. Looks like a nice 34 though, white is my fav colour and those rims look tuff, nice one!

Hey guys, just wondering has anyone seen these installed as below or know were to get them how hard they are to install?? Cause i reckon it looks much better, and shouldn't be very expensive... Any feedback appreciated....

Thanks very much for posting that article, i found it pretty interesting, and its the first clear explination i've read of the self diagnosis for the climate control unit on the r32

Im guessing you want a turbo?? If so i would get a manual to enjoy it properlly. The main thing i would look for is a later model complied under SEVS to have less risk of problems down the track, but you should get a good one for the kind of money you are talking about seeing as the coupes are more popular. Goodluck and test as many as you can, even b4 you have all your finances sorted... the more of them you test the more you have to compare etc.

Sometimes wen i have the climate control on the display gets very dim but then later will come good, it is intermittent and sometimes never happens, i dont think it would be battery related Any feedback appreciated. (the actual fan etc is not affected, only the screen gets hard to read, not a huge issue, but would like it fixed)

Does the article have information on more than just r33's? Either way, i would also like a link to it.

HAHAHA, will do, after all, a bit of lifted dash aint as bad as one with a big drill hole through it Sux how so many r32's have this problem, my one has been in australia since 1999 so half its life, and the aussie sun is a merciless mutha!! -

Yeah i was thinkin of that too, cause with the vent out, u only need to lift a little bit, and if u could get a decent length needle u could get the glue right in were its needed, ill see how i go though, if the drilling idea aint too hard ill give that a crack first, Thanxs for the feedback guys!! -

I've just had a better idea, i went out and looked at the dash, wen u open the gbox, u can put ur finger up into dash and feel the plastic the vinyl is attached to, so if i take out gbox, and some of the plastic thats in the way, then drill small holes in plastic, i could inject glue up through that way and ill be able to put a piece of wood across dash were it comes to a point, and clamp that down. my neighbour has some liquid cement glue that when bonded is strong as. he showed my, by stickin 2 bits of wood together, he got a hammer to seperate them, and the wood cracked, while the glue remained bonded with the pieces of wood it was stuck too What you guys think, at least if it doesnt work there no damage, and no holes in the vinyl, only the plastic inside dash no1 can see..... -

I had a similar idea, but has anyone actually tried this?? -
Hey guys, I have had my r32 for a while and when I bought it the dash was bubbled as i have seen in many an r32 (ref to pic below if ur not sure what i am talkin about). I am only now gettin around to fixing it, i was wondering if anyone had any advice, or has got someone to fix a similar problem? I called one place and without looking at it he suggested re-skin of entire dash, but on a hot day, u can push it right in to how it should be....so i dont think a full re-skin is necessary. Any help appreciated!!!

Early Or Late R32? How To Tell?
r32line replied to Full-Race Geoff's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Now you have me confused, my 32 is a 93 model, and wen i lookd at my blue plate in engine bay, under chassis number is sum jap writting and next to that - KH2, but mine is a '93 like i said ?? Hrmm, having a read around, it seems this code is realted to the colour of the car, so i dont know where else to look for H6 (in my case) -

If the dash is still attached, the easiest way by far is the speedo dials, the older r32's have blue dials, the newer are black b/ground, assuming it hasnt been changed, but probably worth doin a VIN check to find out for sure! As far as i know the newer version came out late 91, but im really not sure.
